A great scenic place to stay for a break

Pros: The bed was very comfortable and the room was warm with an excellent shower. A fantastic view over the river from the bedroom. Plenty of parking and very close to Inverness.

Great location, great food

Pros: Breakfast was very good. Room was ok, the view was great. Hotel location great.

Cons: A real homely feel, great food and drinks and the lady serving in the restaurant was fantastic

Pros: Perfect location with only a short drive to Inverness \u0026 a bus that comes straight past. Room was small but very comfortable with amazing view. Food was amazing both dinner \u0026 breakfast and we found staff very friendly and welcoming.

Pros: Stayed 2 nights to go to a family funeral freindly staff couldn't do enough food excellent .hope to come back in different circumstances

Weekend on the Moray Firth

Pros: Friendly staff apart from check-in, delicious food, and a sizable room with dual aspect windows. The bed was very comfortable and the room was fully stocked with consumables.

Cons: Check-in was a disaster with little to no information being provided. I had to push to get a restaurant booking in a crowded venue and there was no explanation as to how to operate the shower.

Great hotel, exceptional food

Pros: Pulled up outside the Hotel and the view across the water was stunning. In conversation next morning I discovered that a few days earlier, 3 dolphins were seen frollicking in the water just off shore. I was lucky to have a room at the front of the hotel and again enjoy the view. Though sadly no dolphins appeared. In reception I noticed a framed award presented to he hotel as finalists in the 3* hotel catogory. I would reccomend them to be winners. The hotel restaurant is justifiably popular with locals for a special dining experience. I can confirm the food is amongst the best I have eaten. This is not a critisism: put on linen table cloths and napkins and it would compete with the best. I believe the owner is also the chef? his passion and dedication to good food made my experience memorable. If I am lucky to be in this area again, I will definetly be staying here.

A comfortable quiet spot for an overnight stay by the water.

Pros: Helpful staff and receptionist A warm sunny day in Oct we had a pint of beer on the outside tables looking over Beauly Firth. Pleasant warm room, bathroom was really good, great shower, lots of shelf room and plenty of Body wash etc. Firm comfortable beds.

Cons: Everything was fine.

Pros: Everything about the place was exceptional. Lovely comfortable room, very friendly staff and excellent food. Good choice of menus for bith dinner and breakfast

Comfortable cozy hidden gem with great staff and wonderful food.

Pros: Quiet, and tucked away near Inverness bridge. Parked right out front of the pub…heaps of parking due to quiet position. Our room had views of the water. Good hot showers, heating, comfy beds. Tasteful decor, it seemed to be very well maintained. We had a lovely continental breakfast for very reasonable price, hit breakfast available on menu and by ordering, and an excellent pub meal for dinner. My husband is gluten free and they have a full gf version of the menu. The staff were all great.

Cons: We have no complaints. We had to take cases up stairs but it was very manageable. Not a negative as we just took overnight bags.
