A great stay in Inverness - would definitely recommend for anyone looking for something a bit different

Pros: Beautiful and well-decorated room. Generally a great location - you are on the high street so there is noise on the weekends from the surrounding bars / restaurants but it didn’t stop us sleeping at all. It’s also incredible how you cannot hear the music from the Hootananny itself when you are in the same building, and being on top of the music bar really adding something for us as meant to be were able to spend the evening listening to the - frankly incredible - musicians and then hit the hay without having to leave the building.

Cons: Not the warmest welcome from the staff, but appreciate they are having to juggle serving at the bar at the same time! Whole process however was very easy and should be expected when you’re staying at a music bar rather than a hotel!

Pros: Beautiful, clean room with a comfortable bed and great amenities - this will be our go to when in Inverness now! Great location, seemed like it was only 5-10 minutes walk to anywhere we wanted to go, but still quiet despite being in the city centre. Staff were welcoming and kind, and we loved ending our nights at the pub downstairs.

Pros: Great location - near river and, sights and railway station. Nick and his staff were exceptional in so many ways - thank you! Fantastic Scottish folk singing in the pub part of the hotel - wonderful atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend the Hootananny

A happening and lively place

Pros: Beautiful room, the best duvet ever and very nicely decorated. Had a room on the front, just above the (live music) pub and opposite a very lively karaoke bar so expect lot's of noise. I didn't mind so much myself but maybe some people do.

Cons: There's no facilities to leave your bad after check out - but the busstation on 2 minutes walking has a storage facility for 3 pounds per day.

A great, quirky, accommodation experience.

Pros: Friendliness of busy bar staff who pretty much dropped everything to lead me to my room. The nicely presented room.

Cons: Nothing I can think of. It was all great.

Pros: Deserves no less than a 10/10. The room was so clean and felt really homely, the bathroom was so beautiful, the towels where thick and fresh, and despite being on top of a pub with live music it was very quiet in the room, we slept so well! In general, it was very clear that a lot of thought was put into designing and taking care of the rooms, and this was very appreciated! Also do not miss out on dining at the restaurant, the food is really good and the music just added the magic to our trip! We will definitely be back!

Pros: Excellent location, very comfy bed, good shower, room nicely decorated.

Cons: Not much to say, maybe a mini fridge in room
