Kincraig Castle Hotel

Highly recommend this hotel

Pros: This hotel is immaculately clean and welcoming, all the staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The beds are comfy amd the room was spacious amd has everything needed, the towels were nice and fluffy. I was impressed with the options available for breakfast and would say its the nicest ones ive had in a hotel stay. I will be returning again for a longer stay in the summer.

Cons: I drove past twice and ended up down the wrong road even the next day I missed the turning again but it was dark and with no street lightning, there is a sign post but at night its not the easiest to see but this might just be me.

Pros: Visually stunning both inside and out with a cosy luxury aesthetic, incredibly comfy beds, very attentive and friendly staff and housekeeping topped up the rooms with fresh bottled water etc every day without being too invasive.

Cons: Hot water in the bathrooms was a bit lacking at peak times

An enjoyable stay with very attentive staff (the lady on Reception and the Waiter).

Pros: Beautiful building and location. The dining room is very nice and has very comfortable chairs. The bar is cosy with nice views. The stone fireplaces are beautiful and with the christmas trees and decorations felt very cosy and relaxed. The hotel was lovely and warm - sometimes these older buildings can be cold. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Bed linen was good and bed and pillows comfortable.

Cons: Please view this as constructive criticism. The rooms would benefit from some updating. The food didn’t have the wow factor we had hoped for, unfortunately, it was just ok. The Kilner jars at breakfast (yogurt) should be changed - our one was rusted. The window frame in our room was very rusted and dirty and needs replaced.

Pros: Great location and friendly staff the communal lounge is exactly how you expect a Highlands castle to be. Bedrooms very comfortable and spacious with good views.

Overnight Stay.

Pros: Location and staff were brilliant. Breakfast was really good.

Cons: Lack of evening meal facility. Shower temp reached only just warm. It has it's charm, if you will, but could do with a, 'facelift ', in certain areas.

Great place to stay!

Pros: We had a beautiful spacious room, the facilities were all very clean and comfortable, and the hotel staff were very accommodating. When we arrived we were told that they would not be serving dinner that evening because they don't serve dinner on Mondays, but the staff were quick to offer us alternatives and help us order food from a nearby restaurant to have in the hotel bar. The breakfast the next morning was excellent as well.

Cons: There were no issues with the hotel. We might have appreciated more of a heads up about the lack of restaurant the night we arrived, but this issue was remedied by the hotel staff on arrival.

Cons: Facilities itself while charming need some restoration work. The third bed was really horrible and uncomfortable

Pros: We had an excellent time at Kincraig Castle Hotel. The rooms and the lobby were beautifully decorated and the breakfast was very generous and delicious. What made our trip really special was the attentiveness and friendliness of the staff, who were always happy to chat with us and went the extra mile to help us, especially Vijay, who arranged a breakfast for us early in the morning so we could catch our ferry. Highly recommend!
