Pros: The pod is very well thought through, everything is functional despite compact size. Loved the fire pit.

Cons: The bed is a bit on the hard side. Could do with a little night lamp.

Pros: Modern, clean, had all essential items. Very quiet, nice views. Good directions using what 3 words. When an issue arose, it was resolved promptly.

Cons: Not sure if a mesh over the door is possible to keep midges out (we had to keep the door closed to avoid them, but then the room got hot.

What a surprise!

Pros: What a surprise! We expected basic accommodation but the pod was immaculately fitted-out and equipped down to the finest detail with everything we could need. Comfortable pull-out bed, cosy and warm, and even a pint of milk to get us started, from our friendly host Donald. Great location for walks and a truly astonishing view from our verandah.

Home from home

Pros: Everything! It was a home away from home. The lodge was clean, cosy and perfect for our 2 night stay on our NC500 trip. By far the best place we’ve stayed on our trip. The view was incredible, the lodge was cosy, the bed very comfy and the facilities were great. The only mistake we made was not buying food for a BBQ! Highly recommend staying here.

Pros: Fantastic pods, spotless, high standard and owner has built with attention to detail. The views are spectacular and the location is perfect for exploring the upper Highlands. Host was very friendly and helpful.

Pros: We booked out all 3 huts for family and the host's were very flexible and met all our requests including a late check out. They met us on arrival and showed us around the huts and talked about the local area. We would definitely recommend.

Pros: Donald is an amazing host, making me feel welcome and settled from the get go. The pod itself was clean, cosy and has everything you need! My stay was made even better when Donald invited me to meet his highland cows during their dinner time☺️

Cons: There is literally nothing I could say here - everything was just perfect!

Great accom by modation, loved my stay, had everything I needed, very peaceful with great views across the valley.

Pros: Very clean and tidy, well equipped with everything you need for a stay. Cracking views across the valley. Very accommodating on arrival time, up to 2200, great comms with Donald before hand to arrange. Extra storage shed, should you be on a motorbike, to dry out / store kit if needed. Good location, within a mile of Lairg, with a Spar, petrol station (with a Costcutter), chip shop and a hotel (for a bar).

Cons: The midges, but not much can be done about that.

Pros: Very high quality equipment. Friendly and helpful host. Excellent view.
