The owner of the hotel and the staff were excellent when my husband was taken ill. Thank you.

Pros: Our breakfast was a Scottish fry and was a good start to our day. we had dinner in the hotel one evening and it was a really good meal, one of the best meals we had during our two week stay in Scotland

Pros: Location and view were stunning. Bedroom was very nice. Extremely comfy bed. View from my window was breathtaking. Shower was superb. Hot and powerful.

Pros: Lovely hotel right on the harbour. Our room was great and really big. The staff were very helpful. We ate dinner there which was also very nice.

Beautiful and comfortable traditional seaside hotel with all of its classical charm in tact

Pros: This is a beautiful traditional hotel with all of its original charm in tact! Staying by the seaside at this classic spot felt like a real treat from a bygone era. The lounge and bar areas are beautiful, with plush furnishings and excellent details. We booked two rooms and both were spacious and extremely comfortable, recently renovated but with all of their classical features maintained. The food at the restaurant was pricey but extremely tasty - all fresh and delicious and flavourful. We ate in the front porch and enjoyed views out over the firth as we ate. The staff were so helpful and friendly; all informative and good chat.

Friendly stay in a unique location. Tasty dinner

Pros: Great location, authentic offer - lovely building, very friendly helpful staff. Amazing views, if unexpected. Food well cooked and very tasty

Cons: Very poor lighting in the bathroom, bedroom decoration a bit tired. Breakfast was adequate but expensive for what it was.
