Pros: Amazing setting and really lovely, friendly staff. The room was a little tired (the bathroom more so with avocado sweet and needed redecorating) but it was clean and very comfortable. The food was amazing, the best belly pork I've had and breakfast was a simple help yourself buffet with choice of cooked items. We would absolutely stay again if in the area.

Lovely place to stay

Pros: Great staff, excellent food and in a stunning location with wonderful views.

Cons: The place is a bit dated and could do with some refurbishment but it did not affect the enjoyment of our stay

Old fashioned and lovely

Pros: It’s a real old fashioned hotel in the 80s style. I loved it! Staff are incredible kind and lovely. There was a local live band singing traditional songs. The food at the restaurant was OUTSTANDING. I had the pork belly. Also, a fantastic cooked breakfast is included in the price. The room and bathroom are basic but clean and comfortable. Don’t expect the Marriott.

Cons: I was a bit sad not to have a room with the amazing view on the loch but that’s always a gamble.

Lovely hotel and friendly staff

Pros: We had an evening meal which was very good. The breakfast was good. The staff were all friendly. The hotel is placed in a remote area but the views were fantastic. The night sky was amazing and the stars were spectacular

Cons: The bathroom could had done with a bit of a revamp

Pros: Very old, but with charme and very clean. A Loch and Sheep are right across the road. Very good for one night and good drinks and meal!

Atmosphere from the 70’

Pros: Nice stay at a real hotel from 1975, everything was intact, staff kind and especially the lady who served the breakfast was nice, we got a table reserved for breakfast without asking. On fridays live music and sing along. thanks

Cons: Very minor things that could be fixed easily, a little wd40 or similar to grease the dorlock

Pros: Location excellent. Bar and entertainment great. Breakfast ok, nothing special.

Cons: Whilst exceptionally clean and comfortable the hotel is very dated.

Pros: Staff were very friendly, considerate and welcoming. The evening meal (pulled pork) was beautiful and good value. The dining room come pub is stunning. Good WiFi.

Cons: The room was very spacious and comfortable, although it would have been nice to have had a fridge and a small work table.
