This hotel was where I wanted to be for touring the western highlands and I had a pleasnt time.

Pros: The meals were excellent and my room was lovely. The hotel is in need of some refurbishment which the new owners are striving to accomplish. I wish them all the very best.

Cons: I was satisfied with my stay.

Bijzonder hotel met een gezellig persoonlijk karakter

Pros: De flexibiliteit van het personeel beviel goed. Mijn maat en ik zijn geen stel. Het dubbele bed in de slaapkamer was daardoor minder geschikt voor ons. Een extra bed werd direct opgemaakt. Hier hoefden wij niet om te vragen. Ook kwamen beide eigenaren ons begroeten bij onze aankomst. Het is geen standaard hotel, maar het was een heel leuke ervaring

Cons: Het extra bed was wat klein en het matras was wat hard. Ik kan me voorstellen dat dit hotel minder zal bevallen als je een standaard hotel zoekt. Ons is het persoonlijke karakter van het hotel juist een leuke ervaring geweest

Great stay.

Pros: Fantastic location, the garden backs immediately onto the river and many local walks within 10 minute drive, and the NC500. Breakfasts and dinner were delicious. The room was spacious with great views, unfortunately the roof was under repair due to recent storm damage, but it didn't spoil our stay, The hosts were very friendly and helpful.

Cons: No wifi in the room although this was available on the ground floor.
