Pros: Location was excellent although parking was not good as we had to park in the main square and had music equipment in the car.

Pros: We stayed just 1 night during our tour in Scotland. It was a great location for us with parking near the hotel. There were also restaurants nearby. It was clean and comfy.

Comfortable hotel

Pros: The man at reception could not have been more friendly and welcoming. It made a very positive initial impression. He arranged a taxi for me when I left.

Cons: The hotel is wrongly listed as 4 stars, even on Google maps, which is the reason for most of the negative reviews. It is a good 2-star hotel.

Really good.

Pros: I liked the welome when I arrived. The room was very pleasant with plenty of space and quirky features. You could feel the history of the place.

Cons: The bedside light didn't work. Not sure if it was the bulb. But was tired anyway.

Pros: The property is located in the middle of town, you can walk to the pub, restaurants, laundry, etc. The staff met us downstairs and showed us to our room, was very welcoming and made sure we were able and welcome to contact him should anything go wrong. There was a simple mishap with the electrics and we were able to contact him and he had it sorted within the hour. Very good service and hospitality. The room was huge and everything was very clean. Lovely to stay here.

Cons: There were quite a lot of stairs in the property, not really accessibility friendly.
