Pros: A perfect weekend in the far north! Lovely accommodation and food and very well looked after by excellent staff. Thoroughly excellent! An iconic Highland Hotel.

Lovely hotel all alone in the valley by a loch.

Pros: Lovely trip down from Tongue on a one lane road by a loch. Impressive hotel. Very welcoming and lovely lounge rooms. Bedroom looked out to the lake. Warm and comfortable.

Cons: Shower in the bath.

Pros: Warm welcome, but not fussy. Superb real food. Tasteful Scottish country house decor.

Cons: The fact that, as all over Scotland, the hotel was being run on a skeleton staff, One is aware that a few people are overworked, though it did not affect the service.

Pros: The manager was really helpful. I had messed up my booking, and he sorted it out, no problems. The hotel had a really relaxed feel, nice lounges and comfy chairs, and settees. The food was good, Balmoral chicken especially Very accommodating of cyclists

Fabulous

Pros: Warm and welcoming. Sheltering from storm Amy with our 2 dogs. Staff were flexible, friendly and accommodating. Food was excellent.

Excellent Location and very good food - staff welcoming and friendly and worked extremely hard

Pros: We stayed at this hotel on our North Coast 500 tour, we didn't know what to expect but I am pleased to say that the welcome we received from Angelo was excellent, we loved the comfort and decor of the hotel and the food was excellent, probably the best that we had on the route.

Cons: We were 3 female travellers and stayed in the cottage - although the living room was comfortable the remainder of the cottage was a little tired and dated and in need of some upgrade
