What a wonderful special place to stay for a night or two.

Pros: A real wow House, great staff, a lovely dining experience around a large table. And to revisit, staying in different bedrooms!

Cons: Difficult to resolve but with a relatively low ceiling, the dining room became very noisy, noisy would be perfect...

Stunning hotel and amazing stay

Pros: Fantastic decoration, stunning location, super comfortable bedroom and wonderful facilities. The food was exceptional

Cons: Nothing - just know it’s communal eating so you have dinner with whoever else is there. We enjoyed that a lot but it’s not for everyone and we didn’t know until we arrived!

Pros: Quirky, warm and amazing food!! The chef was only 24 and dinner was wonderful!!

Cons: Felt slightly chaotic!! The ethos of feeling like your in a friends country house and not a hotel is wonderful in theory, but always having to go and find someone is a bit odd!!

Lovely stay in a country house with stunning interior decoration

Pros: Remote country house set in beautiful gardens next to the sea. The interior decoration is absolutely stunning, with every room in a different colour scheme and with carefully selected furniture. Loved it! We were offered a complementary visit of the Glenmorangie distillery, which was a nice surprise. The joined dinner was nice and an interesting concept to meet people. The whole atmosphere gives you the feel you are invited to visit someone's country home, rather than staying in a hotel.

Pros: The room was amazing with great views. The whole hotel is an experience and the decor is fantastic! The evening meal and breakfast were delicious, all served by lovely, friendly staff. It was a home from home experience and we will definitely be back!

A very memorable stay

Pros: Beautiful interiors and all very well designed Staff are very friendly and welcoming The group dining concept worked well Delicious breakfast too

If you want to spoil yourself

Pros: The property itself is gorgeous, each room is perfectly decorated with luxurious details. The quality of the dinner was suberb.

Cons: Some minor details: the tap in the bathroom was extremely noisy when turned on. There is no a real reception area, and our check in has been done with another couple in a weird way. No keys for the room, “it is safe” (they say) until something happens.

Pros: Beautifully done guest house, very stylish, great smell. Service was great, dinner and breakfast outstanding!

Cons: Our room curtains did not close 100% so we had some light coming in and woke us up very early. The town is missing some action, it is very quiet.
