Pros: This spot was so lovely! I stayed one night before making my way to Inverness the next day. - The room was exceptional! And the bathroom was so nice, really clean. - I woke up in the middle of the night boiling hot, jumped off the bed to turn the heating down all to realise it was actually floor heating! How unique! Once this was all turned down, the rest of my sleep was very pleasant. - It was nice and quiet Thank you for making me breakfast the next day even though i was running a little bit late. It was very pleasant. I think this would be a nice spot if you wanted to explore the distilleries nearby. I'd like to visit again :)

Cons: - The shower looked SO nice, I was so excited to stand under there for a while after a long day. However, the water pressure was very light, so it was not enjoyable and made washing my hair difficult.

Fantastic service, beautiful room and exceptional tasting menu!

Pros: We stayed in the suite which was beautiful and HUGE! Wonderful mezzaine bath. We had the tasting menu with matched wines on one night which was exceptional and possibly one of the best tasting menus we've done (beating some michelin star places to that accolade!) The food showcased local produce but was interesting and fresh. The best thing was the service from the staff from the moment we checked in, to the day we left, they were friendly, approachable and so helpful (even down to telling us we might spot the aurora that night and showing us photos of it nearby!)

Lovely spot, extremely friendly and comfortable

Pros: Great location, comfortable and amazing food Staff absolutely brilliant, I had a print issue which they printed for me ready for a job interview the next day

Cons: Struggled getting my case down the stairs as I have shoulder impingement - although the chap who was on when I arrived did carry it up for me

Cons: Room was a bit cold on arrival but after phoning reception she boosted the underfloor heating which made the room more comfortable

Pros: Staff were fabulous. Decor amazing. Preservation of a gorgeous building exceptional.

Cons: The hit water in the shower was not consistent. Taps difficult to understand. Water pressure on second day was miserable.

Great stay, will be back!

Pros: Lovely hotel with great staff. Jacob went the extra mile and arranged for breakfast to be served early on the day of our running event which was brilliant and meant a lot to us. Good food and a lovely welcome. Excellent location too. Would definitely stay again!
