Highland Hospitality at its best!

Pros: We could not have picked a better place to spend Hogmanay. Family run, fabulous warm very attentive hosts, a beautiful building and interiors with lovely bedrooms and a gorgeous lounge to sit with a refreshment from the in house bar. Great breakfast. Felt perfect from the second we arrived 💙 and it was! Can't wait to return.

The perfection

Pros: Amazing house and hosts. We felt like home welcoming by Corinne and her family. We would love to spend more than 1 night. This guesthouse has so good vibrations. We loved our stay and we will come back definitely. The room is cosy. We had a very good sleep. The breakfast cooked by the chef was perfect .

Cons: The shower head kept moving it had nothing to keep it in place. The shampoo etc was positioned too high within the shower cubicle. The owners friend was in and was very loud awaking my friend at 4am banging about.

Fabulous old style hospitality.

Pros: Beautiful old Scottish style villa, very well maintained and presented. Corinne, Rob, Zadok, Eleanor and Holly worked as a family to look after use from carrying our luggage up the stairs to a wonderful breakfast. Our room was huge and so very comfortable, large bed, cosy sofa, nice bathroom etc . Good car parking in the driveway and very near the centre of the village.

Cons: Nothing, we enjoyed it thoroughly and couldn’t fault a thing.

Pros: Excellent facility and location. Hosts were terrific and breakfast excellent. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic, comfortable, clean and with the most incredible hosts.

Pros: It was lovely to go to somewhere that felt as good as your own home. It was not only a beautiful place but it was very comfortable and very clean. The owners were incredibly friendly and kind and nothing was too much to make your stay 1st class. I would not hesitate to book the next time I am in that area. Absolutely fantastic place to stay. 🙂

Charming Stay with Friendly Hosts \u0026 Excellent Breakfasts, External Bathroom Setup Could Be Improved

Pros: The house is charming and historical, and being family-run, the hosts were very friendly and made us feel at home. They accommodated our early check-in after plans changed. Breakfast was made to order, delicious, and served in a lovely conservatory, with particularly good cooked options.

Cons: The external bathroom, while nice and spacious and reserved for us, couldn't be locked from the outside, so leaving personal items inside wasn't ideal as it was really accessible to anyone. We expected it would be cleaned daily given this setup, which unfortunately it was not. Deciding not to leave our stuff in the bathroom meant having to carry it back and forth ... opening the old-style bedroom door without the use of both hands (or even in the middle of the night) was a bit of a challenge!
