The Delnashaugh

Very enjoyable.

Pros: The food was excellent. The room was large and comfortable. Good base for visiting local distilleries and walking along Speyside.

Cons: Better wi-fi signal in our room.

Great option for an overnight stop on the Speyside Way.

Loved the place

Pros: Absolutely loved the place, hidden gem. Very comfortable and spacious room. Set dinner was excellent, nice vibe in general. Denise, managing things etc is a class act.

A real gem of a place.

Pros: Warm welcome on arrival and shown to our rooms. Rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean. Bathrooms were a good size and very clean and warm. Evening meal was excellent and the atmosphere was friendly. Good choice at breakfast and lovely packed lunch kept us going on our long walk. Host and staff were cheery and more than helpful. A great place to stay

Pros: Full of character and history in a beautiful setting. Denise the Manager and the breakfast chef were both very helpful. The evening meal and breakfast were exceptional and they provided a very good packed lunch.

Understated but Charming - Stay Here!

Pros: Everything about The Delnashaugh is charming and comfortable. The staff were attentive, friendly and helpful. The room was surprisingly spacious, well equipped and perfectly clean. The bar and lounge area are cosy and inviting (the log burner fire in the evening was a nice touch!). We really enjoyed the 3 course set menu dinner (including vegetarian option for my partner) and the breakfast options. I can imagine a set menu isn't for everyone but it added a rustic charm and the food was delicious. The Delnashaugh is understated but a gem of a place to stay - and within easy reach if you're walking or cycling The Speyside way as we were.

Cons: For people cycling The Speyside Way a bike storage shed may make things easier for the staff to deal with. We were given several options for where to put our bikes and were confident that they were safe but a shed might make it easier with mucky bikes.

Cons: The evening menu was just too limited so we had to go out

Cost and comfortable.

Pros: Very comfortable room. Dinner and breakfast were excellent.

Cons: Nothing major, but a flickering light in our room, and there was a bit of wait for the breakfast (possibly because we were the last to get out orders in) which set us back a few minutes on our day - but the breakfast itself and staff were great.

Charming, comfortable, supportive and kind staff. Very satisfied and pleased. Thank you!

Pros: It was lovely, very comfortable and easy. Lovely staff and views. Staff were really kind and accommodating and we felt very well looked after and at home.

Cons: It is quite close to the road but that also could be seen as an advantage to some.
