great value for money definitely book again.

Pros: location, staff friendliness \u0026 assistance, food was good and atmosphere was excellent.

Pros: Room was great, spacious for a single, comfy bed, lovely unsuited and all spotless. Staff friendly and welcoming, nice cosy bar and bar food. Highly recommend and will stay again.

Very enjoyable stay, great value.

Pros: Location is fine and a excellent base to tour around.

Cons: My wife doesn't like stairs to climb, but the staff go out of their way to see we get a room with the minimum amount of stairs wherever possible.

Pros: Staff were lovely, food was good and reasonably priced Staff were very communicative and sent lots of helpful instructions for finding the place, among other relevant information.

Cons: Some of the bathroom flooring was lifting in one of our rooms but overall rooms were clean and tidy. The parking is super awkward to find in the dark even with the very detailed instructions, definitely recommend finding it in daylight first if you can!

Cons: Only little thing was noisy showers, including from nearby rooms, no other issues

Pros: Room was lovely beautiful bathroom excellent shower. Good value. Very pet friendly our dog got a sausage n biscuits at breakfast.

Cons: First morning lovely breakfast lovely staff. We ate in the bar that night too. Food was typical pub grub. The next 2 days wasnt as good went down for breakfast a young guy was serving us but we had to ask for teaspoons napkins all seemed a bit chaotic other people had to keep asking for various things for their order too. The next morning the shutter was down at the bar the blinds on windows were still down. We rang bell someone came to serve us but to be honest appeared not to have a clue . Then when food came hubbys breakfast potato scone was like a brick bacon hard too sausage was ok. The egg was runny but so much so part of it didnt seem cooked. My bacon was same egg same really runny . We had to ask for our tea which was already ordered. We were almost finshed b4 we got tea and didnt bring milk we had to ask for that too only to be told they had ran out of milk we had to wait till someone went to shop to get some. I was loving this place too but im afraid after having a great 1st day this has put us off. I do think they need to sort out the staffing prob under pressure but maybe have front of house staff with experience serving. Such a shame cos we were really impressed on 1st day.

Pleasant impromptu stay

Pros: Excellent value stay and dining. Friendly staff Very dog friendly and no additional charge for the dog. Newly refurbished room was pleasant and very clean, for a value hotel it's really pleasant.

Cons: Typical with older buildings there is a lack of soundproofing.

Perfect!
