Muthu Newton Hotel (Near Inverness Airport)

Pros: Excellent location and grounds. Food is very good. Some people may say that the room, especially the bathroom, is very dated. In my opinion, everything worked very well, and I would not mark it down for this. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Cons: My only criticism was the very limited shelf space in the bathroom. There was no space for my electric razor or toothbrush.

Pros: Beautiful grounds. Warm and comfortable. Breakfast great. Staff friendly and helpful.

Cons: Nothing.

Was only there for 1 night. Room was spacious, bed was comfortable and the price was the lowest in the area. All in all

Pros: Good size of room, friendly staff, excellent breakfast, plenty parking spaces

Cons: Long driveway to hotel that was full of potholes and pitch black at night

Pros: Location was stunning with a view of the Moray Firth and Highland Cows in the grounds. They are also trying to cater for vegans, and are looking to improve the offerings but had all the basics needed for a decent breakfast, supplied oat milk to the room. Staff were fantastic

Cons: For this type of hotel and location, there wasn't much to not like.

Pros: Beautiful surroundings, minutes walk to the beach. Highland cows in front of the hotel. Impeccably clean, lovely decor. Evening meal in the restaurant was delicious. Rooms spacious and very comfortable.

We had a delightful stay at the Newton Hotel.

Pros: I chose the Newton Hotel for my birthday treat from my husband. We were delighted with the room followed by breakfast the following 2 mornings. We had a delicious meal for dinner on the second night as we were meeting friends on our first night there.

Cons: I cannot think of anything that could have been better.

A wonderfully relaxing and peaceful stay with a high standard of service.

Pros: Location spectacular. Very spacious grounds with Highland cattle in the paddock and Moray Firth beyond. Such a relaxing and peaceful place. Staff so welcoming and efficient. This is a wonderful hotel.and I would highly recommend it. Breakfast was tasty, with especially tasty porridge (always a measure of a good cook) Wait staff were very friendly and helpful. Really

Cons: It was disappointing to see that some motorists had left litter in the car park. Perhaps a bin would encourage a reduction in such litter.

Wonderful hotel

Pros: We loved this hotel, it's one we've already recommended to friends and will stay at again. It's a beautiful property, the room we had was wonderful and the 3 Highland cows were the cream on the top.

Cons: We didn't like the welcome. When we were checking in, we were standing there at the front desk at about 3:30pm with our luggage and the lady wandered out and asked what we wanted in a quite brash tone. First impressions count!

Pros: Everything was very good. Room was lovely, bed comfortable and food was excellent.

Cons: The weather!!!
