Fanastic stay in quaint hotel right next to the river. Excellent food.

Pros: Excellent hotel. All of the staff were friendly and helpful so it's clearly being very well managed. The restaurant was fantastic for both evening meal and breakfast in morning. Rooms are minimalistic, clean and comfortable with no complaints.

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: We loved it, honestly had forgotten what room we’d booked so when we got there everything was a surprise to us. It was Pitch black when we turned up so at the time we couldn’t take in the beauty of the location till the next morning. But the Hotel/Pub is incredible, the staff were so kind to us weary travellers fresh from journey from Gordon on the boarders. The room was so beautifully designed and decorated, the bath in the room was so cute! We could’ve easily spent our time enjoying all the amenities 😂 Oh gosh and the Breakfast was PHENOMENAL!

Cons: Just how peaceful the location was and how it also felt like the heart of the town! The pub really does liven up in the evening so be sure to book a table, though i’m sure there’s always room to be squeezed in. The food was gorgeous! Even have great non fish options for those who aren’t fish fans. The drinks selection is top and the Bedroom felt like the cosiest place to be when the weather outside was pushing -7°c. Also the shower was stunning along with the bath. Oh and the balcony area was perfect, your own little retreat to take in the sound of silence!

Wonderful!

Pros: The Boat Inn is a great mix of modern, clean rooms, an excellent restaurant with a superb breakfast and a small bothy style pub which feels very much like a local pub, with a very warm welcome from the staff and the locals alike.

Cons: There was nothing I didn't like about the Boat Inn. I have stayed twice now for work and will always book in to the Boat Inn when in the area.

quality stay

Pros: very comfortable room with great shower. dinner and breakfast , the food was very good and reasonably priced bar had a good selection of beer. will be back for certain.
