Peaceful and welcoming

Pros: Lovely spacious communal space with logburner. Facilities to reheat food and make hot drinks. A fridge in the room.

Cons: It was very cold when we arrived but I understand the property had been closed for decoration so had not been used for two weeks before we arrived!

Pros: Good size rooms, lovely breakfast in the lounge area with great views and cozy fire. Staff were very friendly.

Lovely one night stay

Pros: Amazing lovely clean place and great decor. Staff very friendly and welcoming , easy check in and check out , breakfast is very welcome. Saw a red squirrel and pheasant at breakfast !

Cons: The only one minor thing would be that room 6 backs right on to the kitchen wall and it’s not that thick, so there’s noise from the microwave etc but it stopped after 10ish or so.

Charming and comfortable

Pros: We arrived late and left early so didn't see much of the place, but the bedroom and bathroom were very clean and well-appointed. Easy to find the place in the dark (very welcome after a long drive through dark Highland roads) and very convenient parking right next to the main entrance. Continental breakfast was ample – cereal, yoghurt, toast, pastries, etc – and the place has a beautiful leafy view down towards the loch.

Cons: No complaints.
