Situated on the outskirts of Banchory and set in a scenic location between Feugh River and King George V Park and Pavilion. Banchory Lodge Hotel is a Georgian mansion, with a modern flair (free private parking onsite). Rooms at Banchory Lodge are individually decorated and bed sizes vary from doubles to four posters (twin bedded rooms available on request- subject to availability). Each room has views of the large grounds of the hotel and some also have views of the beautiful River Dee. All rooms feature TV's, tea and coffee trays and an elegant en suite bathroom. The bridge over the River Feugh is just half-a-mile away and is famous for witnessing majestic leaping salmon. Salmon fishing is also available from the end of the hotels grounds. Banchory's bustling town center is a stone's throw away and the city of Aberdeen is just a 45-minute drive from the hotel and Aberdeen Airport is within 20 miles.

We had a wonderful comfortable stay. Other than the stairs in the main building we had a wonderful comfortable stay

Pros: The hotel is beautifully situated on the river. The room was so lovely and having a walk in shower such an advantage. Room 16 which has a view over the river. The refreshments in the room had such a great choice. Cafetière, teapot and plenty of tea/coffee/hot chocolate. The breakfast was wonderful. Freshly made which we love. Such lovely friendly staff too. We recommend this hotel.

Cons: The only drawback was the number of stairs. If you have any physical disability/weakness it’s a disadvantage staying in the main building. No lift:-(

Fabulous Hotel that's probably worth more than they charge

Pros: The location is absolutely beautiful and the building itself is incredible with period features like beautiful moulded cornice and real fires the staff go above and beyond even helping us in with luggage and the breakfast was superb from a fairly large choice of menu. This is one place I will definitely consider returning to.

Cons: The bar prices are a little pricey but then it is a very classy place

A great short stay at a wonderful location by the river.

Pros: The room was clean, spacious and well apointed. We had a very nice dinner in the dining room and breakfast was excellent with great service. The staff were all very helpful and efficient. We were impressed and shall return again.

It’s a must!

Pros: What a place. It’s a must visit if you get the chance! My room was amazing and the food in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner was brilliant.
