Comfortable, well heated, and excellent staff. Rooms gradually being refurbished to a higher standard we believe.

Pros: Comfortable public rooms. Excellent breakfast. Good evening meal. Excellent staff.

Cons: Room no 19 , one of the two rooms where we stayed in,had difficult access on one side of the bed. Had Mum with us who needs the lift which we had to make sure was in action as grille was often left open. Staff always willing to help. We arrived on a Sunday and meals finished at 5.30 which we found to be inconvenient and had to go out to dine elsewhere.

Fabulous stay in Banchory

Pros: The location was fabulous...easy to access everywhere. The room was amazing. So comfortable and really beautiful in decor. The restaurant was great - food was delicious!

Charming hotel with lovely décor

Pros: From arrival, everything was spot on. There's a good size car park, nice grounds and the building itself is very attractive. The reception area is lovely with really nice décor. My room was a small double with a beautiful wooded sleigh bed, very comfortable with great bedding and tasteful décor and soft furnishings. All in all very satisfied and would happily stay again.

A thoroughly enjoyable couple of days away.

Pros: Lovely warm room, outstanding breakfast both mornings, and a really good dinner on the night we dined in the hotel. All the staff were very efficient and friendly.

Excellent stay

Pros: Beautiful hotel and room was far nicer than expected. Very comfortable bed and the breakfast was delicious. The hotel staff were exceptional particularly the girls who served breakfast and Sam on reception.

Cons: Bar closed very early on a Sunday night.
