Leonardo Hotel Inverness

Excellent bar and breakfast Staff.

Pros: The breakfast, also the meals in the bar were superb, the service in both was excellently. Drinks at the bar were a little expensive, but it was worth it as the service from the staff was very good. Overall we enjoyed our stay except for the problems with the room. My wife did not want me to complain or make a fuss, as we both enjoyed our stay. The enjoyment we received was due to the bar staff and the breakfast workers. ,

Cons: The room I booked in advance and paid for on arrival, was for myself and my wife and was supposed to be a superior room, at extra expense. There was nothing superior about it. The room was small and the bed took up a lot of the space in the room, the bed was reasonably comfortable but not as wide as we were used to. Coffee and tea were available with a kettle. No coffee machine. Nothing like the photograph on the internet. We had to move two fans, the iron and the ironing board from the wardrobe and a large hair dryer from the only drawer before we could use them. If this was a superior room, what on earth would standard one be like? The bathroom was dated, a very old fashioned fixed shower head over the bath. The bath was very slippery, but ok after we got the maid to supply a nonslip bath mat. One of the handles on the wall was unusable as the fixing was broken.

Pros: As me and my partner stayed at the hotel for the weekend we were warmed with such great staff. I had messaged the staff if I could do something for my anniversary with my partner. So arranged for me to send stuff to them by post and they would set it up. And OMG I tell you, they did such a great job. The breakfast was lovely, which we got included. We had a bottle of Prosecco sent to our room which was amazing. I would definitely recommend this hotel. And I will be staying there again. I stayed in a standard room.

Cons: Only thing I didn’t like was there was no main light where the bed was, only a lamp. But we got used to it and it was perfectly fine

It was very relaxing and clean all staff members were great but the girl I spoke about in the breakf

Pros: Breakfast was great and the staff member Morgan was exceptionally helpful not only with myself or partner but she was helping the small children and going above and beyond her job role as was very helpful and patient. I did fill out a form stating that Morgan was very helofull and I actually went back to ask her name as she was a very happy and helpful staff member.

Cons: There was nothing that I can say I didn't like

Great three day stay - location good for onward travel

Pros: Continental breakfast for two days as had to leave early for meetings - good Cooked on day 3 - good Room nice and warm, so good considering the temperature Bar food choice could have been more extensive - But food good Parking - good Staff - polite and helpful

Pros: The location was perfect connecting the city centre and the way to Ullapool for my following day and the location was quiet and peaceful.

Cons: I mentioned this at the receptionist on check out. I know how important reviews are for booking and for the hotel itself. I will use them again here why I gave them and excellent score. I don’t expect any discount and I don’t want any refunds, I want people to use common sense and do their job correctly. The bathroom door was cracked at the bottom and making noise on the floor? That could easily be replaced, surely 1 door can be replaced. Now, the flooring had some old carpet whine is fine and I understand that stains are not easy to clean but didn’t look pleasant at all and my girl also pointed basic cleaning skills missing? The table with the lamp had a coffee spill, 2 on the carpet and 1 on the pillow case so I had to use a different pillow from the single bed as we had a single and double bed. The pillow case should’ve been cleaned before we checked in, and the table surely could have been cleaned too. Overall I’m happy, I’m just being honest and explaining basic cleaning skills. We all would clean it at home so the hotel staff should do the same at work.

Pros: The bed was amazing, slept really well even with road works that were happening in the night. Staff were really friendly, gym was good

Leonardo is a must stay

Pros: Leonardo Inverness is great value for money, comfortable, excellent food , super staff no parking fees .If it's Inverness it must be Leonardo.
