Pros: The staff were so friendly and helpful, the town was only a 10 minute walk for us . The room was immaculate and spotlessly Clean. We will definitely be back .

Cosy hotel ideal for short stay but check they serve food in evening

Pros: The hotel was lovely and warm on arrival, the staff were friendly.

Cons: The changing rooms in the pool were freezing. On the second evening, Saturday, the kitchen was closed, due to staff shortages,they forgot to tell us. I then had to take my 5 year old out into the cold to get food.

Despite the issues it was a lovely hotel with equally lovely staff. The pool was a nice addition although it was looking

Pros: It was quite centrally located. Easy to find. Nice addition of swimming pool. The staff were friendly, efficient and very helpful. The breakfast was lovely. The room was decorated in a modern style which was nice.

Cons: The window in our room was cracked unfortunately and the bathroom door would not lock. Had difficulty getting a signal on the television. It kept losing signal. The pool good addition but looking a little tired.

Pros: Room was lovely and big, bed very comfortable Breakfast great Lounge area great for us to chill with grandchild

Decent value and handy location to visit city centre.

Pros: Very handy for the city centre as less than a 10 minutes walk to the Castle. Spacious rooms. Staff were friendly.

Cons: Having to pay for car parking was disappointing. Rooms are a bit tired especially the bathroom. All windows are old and in need of replacing but they did their best with what they have. Renovations are in progress though out the hotel.

Comfortable and well equipped with a free pool and sauna on site.

Pros: Really large and comfortable room, warm and welcoming, staff were professional, and everything was very clean, and good room service. Very nice to have a free swimming pool and sauna on site. Felt it had lots of traditional character. Though we didn't drink in the bar it looked nice and friendly. We really enjoyed our short stay. Good value for the price we got.

Cons: Its a little way out of the town centre, and we didn't drive, but that meant it was very quiet and it felt safe walking the 15 minutes into town.

Relaxing

Pros: The room was really nice and the food was good as well breakfast was great being buffet style

Cons: The only thing was they were doing the place up bit noisy and a bit of mess here and there but understood things needed to be done up so was not that bad
