Overall an excellent stay that met and exceeded my needs and expectations

Pros: An excellent choice choice of food, plenty of it and a nice ambience in the restaurant,

Cons: Room with plenty of spare Location very convenient for the railway station and town Staff

Would definitely stay again.

Pros: Upgraded room which was perfect for us,location perfect...staff lovely and live music on the nights we stayed.

Cons: Asked for early check in for 2pm as our train arrived then,which we never got...ended up not getting into our room until 3.30pm

Pros: On the Main Street and can walk to local amenities within 5 minutes. We visited stayed on a Tuesday which happened to be quiz night which was a lot of fun! The staff were all so lovely and the room was spotlessly clean! Breakfast was included in our stay, there was a great choice of cooked breakfast items as well as a continental breakfast buffet. We booked a budget room and were warned that there may be some noise from the bar but the room was very quiet despite the bar being lively.

Cons: We booked a budget room which was a little bit tired with marks on the walls etc (didn’t impact our experience though). The bed was extremely firm which is a very small complaint and is personal preference. A great stay!

Pros: We love staying here, have done so many times. Food and service always excellent

Pros: - clean - right next to the ski shops and bus that goes to the mountain - nice pub - free breakfast - great value when booked early - good parking

Cons: - A bit noisy, people shouting until the early hours at a pub down the road and noise from other peoples showers, thin walls and people slamming doors - not always the most enthusiastic staff

We had a lazy weekend in the hotel watching the rugby and enjoying the food and evening entertainment. Nothing disappoin

Pros: It's a nice old building creaky building that was lovely inside and the staff no matter what their role was were all very friendly.

Cons: Am room was comfortable especially the bed had a great sleep. Room just need a little refurbished.

A character-filled, independent hotel in the heart of Aviemore

Pros: An excellent stay in the Cairngorm. Room was compact but exactly what we needed for our one night stay. Staff were superb - efficient and up for a bit of banter. Very sensible last check out time. Breakfast was excellent - so nice to see Eggs Benedict on the menu as an alternative to the standard Full Scottish. Free parking at the front of the hotel. Hotel location is ideal, right in the heart of Aviemore and literally across the road from the railway station. Great to see craft beers from the new Uile-bheist brewery in Inverness on tap in the hotel bar.

Cons: Nothing to mention, it was all good!
