Ullapool Youth Hostel, located on Ullapool seafront, offers views over Loch Broom and the Beinn Dearg mountain range. Rooms in the hostel vary in size, including private rooms. Sweden 🇸🇪

Lovely hostel with excellent facilities

Pros: This hostel is situated right on the seafront and you've got a spectacular view from most dorms and the common room. The hostel itself has comfy and clean beds, very nice toilets and shower rooms and a decent kitchen. It's close to the ferries and buses but also to the river and hills. Very friendly staff.

Cons: I'd been hoping to wash my stuff but the tumble dryer was broken.

A superbly maintained hostel on seafront SUPER STAFF

Pros: Exceptionally well maintained and cleaned hostel right on the sea front. The staff were superb and could not be more helpful. A well equipped kitchen meant that any meal one desired to cook was perfectly feasible and agin the kitchen was kept scrupulously clean by an enthusiastic staff. Comfortable areas to relax and overall a great hostel.

Cons: Salt in the kitchen as one of those things you tend to forget when travelling....everything else was available in abundance

Pros: Very friendly personnel who are happy to make a chat and give great recommendations. We went to a bar closeby. Nice communal space(s) to get back to your senses and chill!

Pros: The location, the views, the size of the dorm room, the comfortable shared lounge and dining area. The staff were really lovely too, along with Morag, their doggy helper.

Cons: Individual lights and charging points for beds in the dormitory would be a bonus but for the price and location, it's not a deal breaker

Great stay at the hostel

Pros: I had a very comfortable experience at this hostel. The rooms were clean and cozy, making it easy to relax after a long day. What really made the stay special were the people—everyone was so friendly and welcoming.

Great expereience, great location

Pros: Great location in town centre. Very friendly, helpful and calm staff who handled a complaint ( was actually the guests mistake) from another guest very calmly and diplomatically whilst I was there. It is the first time I have stayed in a YHA for many many years and I was pleasantly surprised by the experience.

Excellent facilities and staff. Would highly recommend!

Pros: Room was a good size for number of bunks. Ladies toilet was a good size, warm and modern with hot water. Great kitchen facilities, drying room, dining and lounge area. Smooth check in by Aga. Fiona the manager was greatly accommodating by allowing the use of the facilities due to high winds and rain on morning of checkout. Travelling by motorbike it would have been unsafe so much appreciated.

Cons: Even though there was an 4 gang extension socket, for a 6 bed room I feel this was not sufficient (I personally have 4 electronic devices to charge) so could be doing with more
