Inverness Student Hotel

Great Value. Would recommend.

Pros: Great value. Good breakfast. Location ideal a short walk to centre of Inverness.

Cons: Nothing.

I loved staying at this hostel. I'd be happy to come back someday

Pros: There is a really cute and cosy common space with a nice view. Everything is clean. The kitchen is fully equipped and there's an option to buy a set of ingredients for a basic breakfast. Location is perfect for excursions to the river and around the town.

Cons: The open space between the beds in 6-people room was really small and it was a little hard to move around and organize personal belongings, jackets etc. only on the half of bed without additional hangers or closets

Nice hostel with a cool ambiance.

Pros: Nice property, very friendly staff, ambiance was nice, beds were confortable, facilities ok, 10min walk from the center of Inverness, calm area.

Cons: Was not always super clean in the bathroom and nowhere to put your stuffs and secure it with a locker but you can ask the staff to keep precious stuff with them.

Great homey place to stay

Pros: Such a cozy hostel, great space. Lots of cute decorations. Chill lounge area with sofas and a nice view. Free coffee, tea and hot chocolate. Friendly staff. Old building, but kept very clean. Great location, 5 minutes away from the city centre.

Cons: The room got a bit humid and smelly through the night, but I guess that's hard to avoid with many people in an old building. They aired it out during the day.

Homey hostel with good people, great base for exploring Inverness

Pros: Really homey feel, with all the things you need out of a hostel Really good location from Inverness train and bus station in terms of walking, and great location for exploring overall Free hot drinks were a plus Good kitchen facilities with oven, stove, mivrowave, fridges, utensils etc Rooms felt secure with keys. Beds were clean and bed bug free :)

Cons: As others have said, not a lot of storage space for bags in rooms which was a bit awkward with everyone's stuff Also the showers ran cold at one point in our stay and would not heat up or have any pressure, and some of the drains backed up and filled shower with water which was not the most pleasant shower experience

Good, functional hostel with extremely helpful staff.

Pros: Really lovely hostel with friendly staff who were very accommodating.

Cons: The mixed dormitory had a strong smell of cheesy feet.

Value for money Stay

Pros: Superb location, nice cozy comfortable beds, nice common room, Good kitchen facilities, enjoyed the stay.

Cons: The shower room could be a bit more clean.

All fine as expected

Pros: Really appreciated the community spaces. It was very nice to get tea or coffee and drink it in the rustle of guests' conversations. Also, the location of hostel is as central as one can hope for.

Cons: Well, the rooms get quite cramped when fully occupied by 6 people. There's little space to store your baggage, but you can leave these at the reception if needed.

Pros: This place has a really cozy feel and is in a good location.
