Carisbrooke Guest House

Pros: Sweet little room close to the Ness, everything clean. Super lovely host who even off-season provided a small breakfast which was great to start the day with.

Pros: The location, the cleanliness, the room was amazing as it was typically the kind of room we were looking for. Although we did not have the chance to meet the staff in person, they told us by message anything we need to know regarding the guest house, and everything we can do around Inverness was described in a book inside our room. I strongly recommend this guest house.

Pros: Joy was a truly wonderful host. So warm, kind, and effortlessly easy to talk to. He made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The room was simple, clean, and very comfortable. Exactly what you want for a weekend city break. A perfect place to come back to after a full day of exploring. I really appreciated the thoughtful little touches. Coming back to chocolates on the bed was such a lovely surprise. Breakfast is continental only during winter so the hosts can recharge, but it was still excellent. Cereals, croissants, meats, cheeses, bread, dried fruit, fresh fruit, plus coffee and tea. Everything you need to start the day well. It was also so nice meeting the other guests. Everyone was friendly and relaxed, with such a lovely atmosphere. Great value, genuinely wholesome stay. I would happily come back.

Cons: The bed was a little bit small for us, but it wasn’t uncomfortable.

Pros: I've stayed here a few times. Joy is always warm and welcoming. Cosy, clean b\u0026b. Was a treat to find Christmas decorations. Was a lovely weekend away from reality. Great location, short walk into center. Breakfast is tasty. Excellent shower. Tea/coffee facilities.

Cons: It would be amazing if breakfast ran till 9.30am or so, especially on a Sunday. I realise this is probably because check out is 10am.

Pros: Really lovely room, comfortable bed and Joy was super welcoming. The continental breakfast was amazing and more than enough to start our day.

Super friendly host in a really good guest house

Pros: The location was perfect to explore the city, the room was very clean and the breakfast was excellent! Car parking was great, and the staff were brilliant.

Pros: The position was great, a 7 minute walk across the bridge to the centre. Our rooms were exceptionally clean, and the owners were very helpful, and the breakfast was delicious.
