Comfy, clean \u0026 quiet with a Great location

Pros: We loved this b\u0026b, the bed was SO comfy, it was very quiet, no noise from traffic or passers by or other residents. It was also perfectly located for us. Easy walking distance to the center and to the park

Cons: The pressure in the shower wasn't great, but its an electric shower and I expect with the age of the property its hard to keep high pressure for everyone, it was still good enough for us and this is definitely NOT a complaint- just a statement

Pros: Location was convenient for visiting downtown area . Nice view from the room. There were nice options available for breakfast .

Cons: Room was small due to slanted roof.

We would stay here again

Cons: Sloping ceilings in room 7 - mind your head!

A little ‘old fashioned’ but perfectly clean \u0026 excellent value for money -would visit again.

Pros: Excellent value for money. Clever use of space in the room - folding table etc Lovely riverside location - was a small pleasure to walk to \u0026 from the town. And very central. The woman staffing the breakfast was lively - nothing was too much trouble.

Cons: The serving spaces allocated for breakfast was guddled and confusing. I found it quite stressful - no clear way of knowing where anything was. Needs a rethink.

Pros: Phi and her father are excellent hosts. The atmosphere is gentle and quiet. The continental breakfast is very good.

I would recommend this hotel to travelers to stay here and enjoy their time in this city.

Pros: The location was excellent, and the staff were very polite, kind, and helpful. When we arrived, the gentleman at the reception helped us a lot with parking our car, and we were able to check in very quickly. The breakfast was really good, and overall we were very satisfied.

Pros: Good location and homely vibe. The room was small but very comfortable, clean and with a private bathroom. 3 flights of stairs to get to my room which was not an issue for me but may be difficult for people with mobility issues. The hosts were extremely kind, the lovely gentleman offered to give me a packed breakfast each morning as I was leaving before breakfast was served. This was a very kind touch and very much appreciated. He went out of his way to ensure my stay was comfortable and I was happy. My taxi driver even mentioned that he came out to check on me early (6.20am) on the day of departure even though I did not see him. I only briefly met the female host who was also kind and helpful. Good value for money and I would definitely stay here again.

Best place I’ve ever stayed!

Pros: The location is fantastic! Unlike airB and B type places, the owner greeted me on my arrival and handed me the keys! It was normal before but nowadays it is such a treat to have a nice welcome like that!

Cons: There was nothing that I didn’t like about.

Pros: Great location, in the city. Loads of restaurants and bars close by. Comfy bed, nice shower. Single room is compact but comfy. Parking available using a back entrance. I used street parking as it was Sunday and I was leaving early Monday. Friendly check in and breakfast.

Cons: The bulb in the bedside lamp was blown (apologies I meant to say at breakfast). As in all houses of this era and age, the stairs is steep, i only had a small bag and help was offered though.

Feeling the love at Talisker Guest House

Pros: It was a delightful location along the River Ness. Easy walking distance to get a nice meal. I had a cosy attic room with garden view that included breakfast. So cheap!
