Cavell House

Pros: Camilla was absolutely lovely. Rooms were cosy, clean and comfortable with modern bathrooms, but still some traditional charm. A short walk into town centre, nothing to fault!

Pros: Very clean, comfortable, spacious and cosy. So much character. Great location. We loved our stay here so much. Our host and her son were so lovely,friendly and helpful. Beautiful was breakfast.

Pros: the house was warm and welcoming. The owner was brilliant, very friendly, and chatted to you like an old friend. loved the location, it was just a short walk to the town centre, culloden 20 mins away loch ness 30 mins. breakfast was amazing.

Pros: Camilla is such a lovely, welcoming host. We enjoyed chatting with her, she has some great stories and also some helpful information about the area. Very comfy bed, pretty view and great location. Yes, as some others have mentioned, the floor does creak in certain spots, but it's an old heritage house, that's to be expected and we made a game of seeing who could get around without stepping on a creaky board - turns out we must have been successful because the other guests didn't even know we were around until we saw them as we left! (We had some long day trips so were often out before and after others joined the shared dining room). If we come to Inverness again, I'd love to stay with Camilla again!

Very pleasant overnight stay.

Pros: Great location, nice outlook over a park to the River Ness. Handy to good restaurants.

Cons: Squeaky floorboards.

Pros: A lovely, welcoming stay. Host was very helpful. Lots of choices for breakfast. A lovely area which was away from the noisy city streets. Peaceful and great for a good nights sleep. Only a short walk into the city along the river.

Pros: It is family run and in prime location to everything in Inverness.

Cons: Have nothing we did not like.

Pros: An absolute gorgeous and cosy place to stay- right near the River Ness and only a 15 minute walk into the old town. The bed was very comfortable and the shower had the best water pressure I’d experienced. The amenities provided were of a high quality. I arrived after check-in hours so Camilla sent me self check-in instructions which made the process very straightforward. She was lovely and very friendly.

Cons: I knew about it when booking, but something to be mindful of- the rooms are located up a flight of stairs- however Camilla offered for her son to help me with my bag, if needed, even though reception hours had closed.
