Warm, comfortable stay, we would certainly visit again and recommend.

Pros: For a couple of a certain age, the breakfast was absolutely perfect. However, I would imagine that younger people would expect to be offered a hot cooked breakfast. When we booked this accommodation we just assumed that a cooked breakfast was a given as it didn't mention that it was Continental only.

Cons: There was nothing we didn't like, every person we met was very friendly and welcoming. Because the room we had originally be allocated had a problem, we were upgraded, which was very nice.

Very welcoming host

Pros: Room was lovely, location was perfect for the wedding we were attending at Meldrum House hotel and the owner was very obliging in arranging an early check in for us.

Cons: No cooked breakfast.

Perfect stay, good room, nice staff

Pros: Room was warm and very comfortable, breakfast was excellent.

October break up North

Pros: The hotel was absolutely lovely. Spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated. The food in the restaurant was delicious, definitely worth the money. All the staff are nice and friendly.

Cons: 1. You couldn't get straight into the pub/restaurant where you eat breakfast \u0026 evening meals. You had to go outside and back in the front hotel access area. Not a big deal, unless the weather sucked. 2. Our shower had no hot water. We told them, and they'll check it out. Should be an easy fix. Saying all that, we definitely would return.

Fantastic host, lovely rooms and great food.

Pros: Stuart and staff very welcoming and friendly. Very large bedroom and large bathroom. The balcony was great addition too.

Cons: Although the breakfast was plentiful. It would have been desirable to have a cooked version. The fruit salad was amazing though, and although porridge wasn't on the menu we jokingly commented its omission for Scotland, we were presented with a bowl each morning, too. We also ate and spent an evening in the restaurant/bar. The food was good there too. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

Pros: Lovely rooms. Pub is also very nice and host is friendly. Clean rooms.

Awesome place to stay

Pros: Lovely Scottish pub with friendly staff, delicious continental breakfast and good pub food for dinner. Comfy bed and spacious accommodation, thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay.

Great find just a few miles on the outskirts of Aberdeen

Pros: Lovely country property in immaculate condition throughout. Well appointed rooms and a fab pub/ restaurant being on site is such a bonus.

Memorable

Pros: Service with a personal touch. Stewart was very personable and friendly and accommodated our requirements to check in earlier as we has to get reading to attend a wedding. He went over and above his responsibilities to keep us comfortable.

Cons: Nothing.

Wonderful place to stay

Pros: Everything. Especially the staff and Stewart the owner, lovely people.

Cons: Nothing, I liked everything.
