Good youth hostel facilities what you would expect

Pros: Spacious rooms and good facilities, kitchen, dining area, lounge etc

Cons: Very thin walks could here other guests banging doors, snoring etc

Pros: Staff were super friendly, hostel was clean and I loved the pod bathrooms. They were very spacious compared to other hostels I’ve stayed in. Overall a comfortable getaway!

Cons: The doors to enter the dorm do not have a handle from the inside which meant that there was no way to stop the door from slamming

A really enjoyable, memorable stay. Would go again without hesitation.

Pros: The Hostel was a very effective and cost effective and comfortable place to stay for our trip to the Cairngorms. The staff were really friendly and helpful. We were walking, swimming, climbing and bimbling about and its was just the place for the family to base. We really enjoyed. It had the full facilities required.

Cons: Nothing.

Lovely stay at Cairngorm Lodge Youth Hostel !!

Pros: The location is excellent, just 2 mins walk to Loch Morlich. The staff especially Milo was great. The kitchen is well equipped with all utensils and stuff, just loved the stay here.

Good value stay in lovely location.

Pros: The hostel is in the perfect location for what I needed. The rooms are spacious, clean and warm. The bathrooms seemed newly redone, are clean and the showers are excellent. It has good facilities (kitchen, drying room, washing machines...). The common room is nice and cosy, with lovely views. Free parking. Very dog friendly (dogs are allowed everywhere except the kitchen).

Cons: The food served for dinner wasn't great (I didn't try the breakfast). The beds were quite uncomfortable.
