Truly a home away from home

Pros: We had an absolutely amazing stay at Mansefield cottage. From the moment we arrived, the owner made us feel incredibly welcome. The cottage was beautifully clean and so well looked after — it truly felt like a home away from home. We were especially grateful for the thoughtful hamper of food waiting for us. After travelling such a long way, it was wonderful not to have to rush straight out to a shop. It was a gesture we really appreciated. We loved our stay and will definitely be returning. Highly recommended!

Pros: The cottage was so cosy and warm on arrival. There was a beautiful hamper waiting for us containing a great variety of treats for our stay. The host had also left other food in the fridge and freezer which was very useful and helped after a long day travelling. There was ample parking throughout our stay. The views from the back door are amazing looking out over the fields. It is a very peaceful cottage, very well equipped with everything you will need. We will definitely be returning again.

Cons: There was nothing that we didn't like about our four night stay at the cottage.

Outstanding

Pros: Location was fantastic with parking at the front door. The cottage was extremely clean and the facilities were absolutely fantastic, if you forgot something the owners had that covered. The trip was made even better when we made friends with Dyson the chicken and her two chicken friends each morning having cuppa and feeding them bread which they loved. Would highly recommend this cottage to anyone and will definitely be back to stay.

Exceptional cottage and very nice owners

Pros: We liked absolutely everything, the cottage is peaceful and exceptionally clean and comfortable. The owners had taken the time to create a welcome pack full of treats and a little something special in the fridge 😉. Cannot fault anything, the view is great from the small seating area outside whilst the inside is cosy warm and it has comfortable beds \u0026 pillows for a great night's sleep 😴 It was so good that we booked to stay again in July whilst we were there 👍 Highly recommended.

Pros: Beautiful cottage, very well equipped and comfortable. In a quiet rural setting with friendly welcoming hosts. The welcome hamper was beyond generous. Would highly recommend.

Pros: Perfect home in a lovely setting. Owners are fantastic and they set the home up with so much thought in mind for the tenants. So many items left to make move in so easy!! Welcome hamper out of this world.
