Loved this cosy cottage

Pros: Loved this cottage and it was so clean and cosy. There is a beautiful beach a short walk from the house and a lovely fish and chip shop. There is also a bar a short walk away as well.

Seaside break

Pros: Loved the location, cosy feel about cottage and fab log burner. Cottage space deceptive too. Back garden would be lovely to sit in during warmer months

Cons: Parking could be an issue if you have an average sized car. Driveway was useful but unfortunately we had trouble getting out due to parked cars directly opposite. For remainder of trip we parked along the street.

Our stay was relaxing and comfortable and communication with the hosts was great!

Pros: Beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Plenty of space for a family of 4 and two dogs. Could have housed two more people easily. Safe and secure garden space for the dogs too. Host provided all the info needed prior to arrival and a bottle of wine on arrival!!

Cons: It’s important to note that the front door opens out to a road. We managed with our 8 year old and two dogs but you have to be careful.

The cottage provided a perfect getaway for our family weekend trip

Pros: The cottage felt really homely. It was cosy , the beds and bedding were excellent quality and comfortable and the furnishings were very tasteful.

Very enjoyable stay.

Pros: Fantastic accommodation, very comfortable beds. Easy access for my elderly mum and downstairs bedroom was ideal. Lovely outside area for sitting out. The little sitting room was perfect to sit \u0026 read. Close to pub, fish \u0026 chip shop and a lovely general store. It’s a beautiful area to visit.

Cons: We didn’t realise the downstairs shower room and toilet were not next to the bedroom but my mum managed.

A jewel of a place.

Pros: The house and location were perfect. The house is airy well decored and the facilities and equipment were first class.

Cons: Nothing to dislike.

Beautiful home away from home

Pros: Spotlessly clean and well maintained. Gorgeous. Had everything you would need for a stay away from home.

Perfect location

Pros: Perfect place ,just so relaxing ,situated in a lovely village . Lovely comfortable rooms ,lovely personal touches with nice wine and biscuits on arrival. Great local pub and restaurant,great place to base yourself for the lovely towns and villages close by ,Cullen ,Gardenstown,Pennan etc . Some great walks for our dog as well . Thoroughly recommend.

Excellent cottage in fantastic location with brilliant hosts

Pros: Loved everything about this cottage! It was clean, brilliantly equipped, and the beds and sofa were comfortable, a real home from home. Communication with the hosts was excellent, and we were given clear instructions for getting into the cottage and operating the boiler, etc. The cottage was 2 minutes away from a well stocked shop, fantastic chip shop (Rockfish), and pub (The Seafield arms). The food from both was delicious, and I would highly recommend a visit to both. Will be looking to stay here again soon as so much more to see!

Cons: It was not a deal breaker, but the upstairs shower had a fixed head on the ceiling. Personal preference, but we prefer one that is on the wall and can be adjusted. The shower downstairs was like this, which we used more.

Excellent. - loved it !

Pros: Very clean quirky little cottage. Suited a family of 1 brother and 3 sisters visiting an elderly relative in Banff. Hosts had great communication and were easily accessible if needed. Perfect for our needs
