Great cottage for a family and dog.

Pros: Very accommodating. I left an item when I checked out and the owner offered to ship it to my UK address. The ground are lovely with extensive walks around the land and a path behind the cottage to the river. It is a great location for a family with a dog. Lots of wildlife, deer in the fields and red squirrels in the gardens around the house. The owner attracts local birds and squirrels by filling in the bird feeder every morning. It isn't clear in the description but there are 2 shower stalls (one in the downstairs bathroom and one in the upstairs) as well as a corner bath in the upstairs unit.

Cons: WiFi effectively doesn't work other than loading text in emails. Not possible to do teleworking unless you have sufficient mobile data. The road to the cottage is single track, rutted with few passing places.

Pros: Lovely setting , lots of wildlife seen sitting at the cottage Well equipped, plenty space

Cons: The only downside is the access road . Take it very slowly whilst driving

it was a great find, even better if there was a welcome pack of food essentials to get you started

Pros: it was clean and very comfortable. the bedrooms and kitchen ample and well resourced. the bird and squirrel feeders were a joy to watch with lots of regular visitors.

Cons: the one track road to the cottage was narrow and quite long with a sheer drop on one side.
