The cottage was immaculate, the furnishings were very tastefully Scottish.

Pros: The location was very good, next to walking paths. I loved the pictures of native animals. It was compact and comfortable. The shower was excellent.

Cons: It was quite cold for the first 2 nights, but heated up for the rest of the week. .

Pros: Lovely little place with high-quality furnishings. Just a short walk from the middle of Ballater but feels quiet and peaceful. The lounge/dining room catches the late afternoon sun and has a view up to the oak woods of Craigendarroch hill. It's quite a small place (the reasonable price reflects this - it's in a 'premium' part of the Highlands) but the quality of the armchair, sofa and dining chairs would put many a grand country hotel to shame and made for a relaxing and memorable stay.

Very happy with our stay at grairnlea cottage and would highly recommend it - all your amenities .. so cozy and high qua

Pros: Gairnlea cottage was perfect for our stay in ballater , had everything we needed and was homely , very clean the bed was lovely and comfy .. the cottage is a short walk from the town and some great pubs and restaurants - we hope to return in the future

The location of the cottage was within easy walking distance of everything in the town.

Pros: The location was very quiet and peaceful. The cottage was spotless and cosy and very well equipped with very good quality fixtures and fittings.

Pros: Das Cottage ist klein, aber fein eingerichtet und gemütlich. Im Garten davor kann man gut entspannen, der Rasen ist unglaublich weich. Die Lage in Ballater ist super, man ist schnell zu Fuß in Cafés, Restaurants oder im Supermarkt und hat nur kurze Wege zu schönen Wanderwegen.
