Hill View Cottage - near Aviemore

The perfect location not far from Aviemore. If we are that way in the future a definite re visit

Pros: mainly the cleanliness, size of the property great for our family. Loved the open plan kitchen. location and views were amazing. great walks nearby. The kitchen was well equipped. Beds are quilts were comfy. Heating was very easy to use

Cons: Lingering smell of smoke - guess from use of the wood burner in lounge. Pillows in bedrooms flat and quite hard. Wifi not the best for tv and internet in general. Boot room could do with a sink to wash down dirty shoes etc.

A lovely family visit to Aviemore!

Pros: Very clean house Lots of room - spacious Effective radiator heating - very cosy! Quiet location with fantastic views of the mountains! Great communication from the owner

Cons: Wifi on tv and mobiles could be consistent/reliable - maybe mountainous location the cause??

A perfect family cottage

Pros: Perfect and clean. Lots of room. Lovely rooms and facilities. Thanks for the oatcakes! My daughters loved the wild rabbits

Pros: The location was fantastic. Property was exceptionally clean and well equipped

Overall our visit was really nice and we enjoyed it so much we will probably be back.

Pros: Property was very clean and comfortable. Location was nice with a great view!

Cons: There’s a few bits that could do with some attention as starting to look a bit dated, ie. The flooring in the hall and the front door could do with some work as well. We had a bit of trouble opening and closing it. Although we found out it was better using the back door for us in the end anyway.

Fantastic Cottage on the Hill

Pros: The location and view was spot on lovely wee affordable cottage. The owner was friendly and had essentials ready for our arrival. The wood burner was easy to use would be good for a winter stay. I would definitely recommend this place to others.

Cons: The twin beds were a little small for an adult but the facilities were good.

Perfection

Pros: The property had gorgeous views, well stocked with everything you could possibly need, beds were very very comfortable and just a few minutes to town. Our hosts are lovely people and we plan to return at some point, can’t say enough good things 🙂

Cons: It’s such a little thing but the television was too small for the room. Couldn’t read anything in the screen if sat on the sofa, other than that it was perfect
