Loch Shin Glamping Pods

A great pod experience.

Pros: A wonderful peaceful scenic location with area around the pod very well kept. Lovely to see the Coos and Alpacas. Pod was compact and cosy with everything you need. The biggest bath towels throughout our whole trip⭐️

A different kind of stay

Pros: Most of the things we needed were available in the pod. It warmed up quickly and was lovely and quiet. Clean and a super shower. Owners were to hand when we required anything. Excellent parking and everything really well maintained around the pods

An ideal base for hill walking in a remote area. A Beautiful location and thoughtful hosts.

Pros: Very kind of the hosts to fry our wet walking gear and boots.

Great stay

Pros: The view from the pods is beautiful and it's really quiet. The pods have everything you need.

Cons: The lamps outside that stay on during the night.

Pros: Beautiful location in the middle of fields and animals. Very quiet and peaceful. The garden is well maintained and huge. The pod is clean and useful. We had a very pleasant stay and we recommend this adress.

Great place

Pros: - The location is stunning. Lots of animals and walks nearby. And not too far from the loch, the falls, and the town Lairg. - The pods were very clean and had everything we needed. - The TV with DVD player was great as it rained both evenings we were there so we couldn't borrow the fire pit but definitely would have if the weather had permitted. - The area was quiet and peaceful - Would definitely recommend

Cons: - It was very hot in the cabin but not much that can be done about that. I expect in winter, it would make the lodges nice and cosy.

Cons: Small shower gel and paste, coffee sachets,tea bags will help. We had this our own ,so it was ok..

A perfect, cosy base for exploring Munros and local sights, with stunning views and fantastic hosts.

Pros: Perfect location for accessing nearby Munro’s on our list: Ben Wyvis and Ben Klibreck. It’s also really easy to get to both John O’Groats and Inverness. Hosts were very helpful and attentive, also nice to discuss local knowledge with them. The pods were a perfect size for two adults and a Labrador and were spotless on arrival, making for a cosy environment. The views on a dry and sunny evening are stunning, ideal to sit out on the bench and have drinks or dinner. With luck you might see the farm animals too!

Cons: Nothing!

Pros: Brilliant location, perfect to get away from busy lives, if you want something quite remote but accessible by good roads this is perfect. John was very nice and helpful when we needed him and the pod itself was great value compared to other glamping options online. Comfortable and clean, a lot of thought has went in to trying to provide everything they can in the space you have.

Cons: A bigger knife for cooking prep would've been handy, thats how picky i have to be to choose a negative. Be preapred for midgies at sundown time, but it is the scottish highlands!

Would absolutely recommend to a friend/family

Pros: The stay was a quiet, beautiful countryside with lots of animals which we got to meet. The hosts were also very kind and friendly.
