Pros: Loved Rowan Cottage. Great location by Avielochan and close to Aviemore. Quirky, roomy for a family Christmas. Clean, tidy, warm and comfortable, a home from home. Would definitely stay here again.

Cons: Nothing in particular to complain about.

Overall well equipped cottage kids loved the hot tub

Pros: Location was nice but a bit out of the way we all had cars to it was fine

Cons: After I striped my bed bedroom downstairs the mattress was badly stained which looked like urine the bed had to be stripped when leaving if I had seen it beforehand I couldn’t have slept on it

Rowan Cottage in the snow

Pros: It was clean, beautifully furnished, warm and comfortable. Located a mile or two outside Aviemore, it also has a nice countryside walk into town.

Cons: Could do with some proper tinder to start the fire in the living room, but that's a small thing and we got round it :)

Pros: The cottage was warm clean and comfortable. Hot tub well maintained.

Cons: There was nothing not to like. A few more glasses. The cottage sleeps 10 but only services 6 to 8 guests. The kitchen could do with some more cooking utensils.

We had a lovely time at Rowan Cottage, out walking each day and returning to enjoy a dip in the hot tub.

Pros: The property was warm, cozy, well equipped and in a private location within easy reach of local attractions.

Idealic cottage for families or group of friends

Pros: Fabulous accommodation with good size rooms and the hot tub was fab! Beautiful location beside mini Loch. I would stay again and definitely recommend it.

Cons: Hot tub had too much chlorine, chandelier in dining room badly positioned as kept banging heads and beds need to be checked as 1 had sore broken springs.
