Everybody happy with the stay

Pros: BBQ hut excellent. Hot tub great. overall comfort good.

Cons: A chair in each bedroom would have been handy. The down stairs double bedroom bedside lamp requires a replacement bulb.

Excellent holiday home

Pros: Dalfern Lodge is a very spacious comfortable house in a quiet area. It was clean with great facilities, everything u need to cook , plenty towels and bathrobes, TV and streaming, hot tub was excellent and my boys loved the pool table and darts as well as board games. Owners emailed to check if everything was fine, it was, there is nothing to complain about with this house rental. Lovely walks nearby which my dog enjoyed and plenty restaurants and takeaway places within a leisurely stroll or short drive. Would definitely recommend

Cons: It's not a secluded house but the area is so quiet it didn't make a difference

Amazing stay and perfect for large family

Pros: Absolutely perfect for large family , beds so comfortable and so much space, grandchildren loved the outdoor playhouse and toasting marshmallows in the outdoor bbq hut . Great location, near to Aviemore and lovely walks. House had everything you needed

Pros: Very spacious and comfortable with lots of extras such as games, books.etc. Fantastic hot tub and bbq hut. Excellent location.

Cons: I think a little more attention to cleanliness is needed, very dusty under beds. The steps were steep into the house and garden with no hand rails for our older family members.

Fabulous house, we didn’t want to leave.

Pros: Very spacious and extremely comfortable. The house was immaculate and very well stocked with utensils and kitchenware. Outdoor amenities are excellent and the BBQ/fire pit hut is amazing. Lots of books to browse and games for the children to play with and the pool table and darts were a big win.

A perfect house for a multi-generational family reunion, so comfortable and well-equipped!

Pros: The BBQ hut, the children’s playhouse, the the hot tub, the choice of sitting areas, the peaceful location next to the woods.

Cons: Nothing not to like.

Fantastic fun week away

Pros: Plenty space for 8 people and a great bbq hut and hot tub. Towels were so fluffy

Cons: The size of the single beds. We had 3 children and 5 adults and I have to say the single bedroom and bed in double weren’t big enough.

Perfect stay at the Shambles!

Pros: We had a fantastic weekend at the Shambles. A beautiful house with great facilities, especially the hot tub and BBQ hut. Its comfortable and has everything you need just like home from home. Ideally situated on the outskirts of Aviemore. we would definitely book to stay again.
