The Stables Cottage

Four humans and dog spent a lovely weekend at the Stables. I would certainly recommend it

Pros: The location was lovely. The cottage was vey comfortable and generally well equipped. The towels were beautifully soft.

Cons: A bedside light for the single bed in the triple room would have been a bonus We could have done with more glass tumblers, mugs and teaspoons

Very comfortable, clean, well laid out apartment

Pros: Really comfortable, clean property. Ideal for our family stay (myself, husband, 2 year old and mother in law). The layout worked very well for us and the large living area was an ideal space. The bathrooms were lovely and felt new. Shower was nice and powerful. Good location for exploring local area

Cons: The only (very minor!) point to note was that there wasn’t enough cutlery/ crockery and the dishwasher was too big! So you ended up putting on half loads to manage. Also missing a bin in the twin room bathroom. But these are very very minor points. Our stay overall was great!

Pros: The area is lovely. Lots of tall Scots pine and the River Dee.

Cons: Had some trouble locating. phoned for help and also needed help with key lock box. Tried every which way and then accidentally pushed pad in and it opened. No one mentioned that. It was now dark and I was panicking a bit as car still loaded. I haven't had trouble with lock boxes before.

Pros: Clean, comfortable well equipped cottage in a wonderful location. Ideally positioned for village facilities. Travelled with dog and lots of varied walks from doorstep. Would certainly visit again.

Cons: Might be useful given dishwasher to have some extra plates and cutlery. Some larger tumblers would also be useful.

Our third time and hopefully we will be back early next year.

Pros: Sat outside eating breakfast. Perfect spot for visiting the village and wonderful walks along the river and in the countryside

Cons: Lost internet connection a couple of times

Pros: Very nice apartment with plenty of space and a lovely patio

Pros: Excellent property, fab location, great layout, lovely and clean, would definitely be back!

Cons: Only comment the bedroom with the double and the single - the double bed is very small, understand why you’ve put a small bed to get to the plugs etc but it would be better if it was a little bigger. ☺️

Pros: Really great location, good facilities and great water pressure

Cons: There were no bins around the property, just the kitchen. The twin room has a lot of bugs on the carpet, which I assume would have entered from the outside door.

Pros: It was cozy, very close to nature and nicely furnished (including with kitchen materials).

Cons: It took us a little time to figure out the heating. And there were only 4 chairs for the main table, so eating with 5-6 people was difficult.

Very comfortable

Pros: Brilliant location, facilities were excellent, well equipped and comfortable. Will recommend to others!

Cons: Not a complaint, but my mother is not very mobile so a handrail at the small step from the lounge to the hallway would help those with the same issues.
