Westwood Cottage

Loved it would certainly return

Pros: Great location. lovely house and garden and a fantastic ambience

Cons: Not enough towels or toilet paper

We had a fantastic stay in Westwood Cottage and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others.

Pros: Extremely comfortable and well appointed cottage, perfect for our short break in Aboyne. Great location and the cottage was cleaned to a very high standard.

Cons: There was nothing we didn’t like.

A comfortable retreat to return to..

Pros: The house is very well situated for exploring the Cairngorms,Balmoral etc.The house is well appointed especially the kitchen .All good for a comfortable visit.Terrace and summer house nice places to sit after a days walking.2 great reserves close by to enjoy . Brenda is a good host making sure we had everything we needed.She left us wine bread,butter and pots of Jam and Marmalade a nice touch.Thanks Brenda.

Cons: We would have liked a 2cnd toilet /cloakroom. Otherwise all very satisfactory

Pros: Beautiful cottage and very well equipped, lovely welcome pack. The cottage was spotlessly clean. My only comments and they are comments and not complaints and certainly would not stop me from staying again - double bed felt small especially when we are used to a king size and shower gel would have been nice touch (probably because I forgot mine). Thanks to Brenda for an amazing property - just beautiful

Pros: Excellent location for visiting Balmoral Castle, Braemar, Ballater and the Cairngorms. Very comfortable

Brenda was brilliant letting us come early due to bad weather , we had a lovely stay and would recommend highly.

Pros: Great location and very private , lots of space for kids to run around and modern house.

Cons: The only thing that wasn’t 10/10 was it would have been nice for the TV to be a smart TV so streaming services can be played on the tv from a phone or tablet etc.

Perfection

Pros: Property was easy to find, we travelled from Dundee. Quiet area, well kept location. Property absolutely exceeded our expectations it was absolutely stunning. Initial walk in thought was wow this is nice very well maintained, then walked through to kitchen/diner then followed through livingroom/hall bedrooms etc and it just kept getting better and better. Extremely clean and fresh! Large drive way, and entry to property. All extremely well maintained and kept, especially for this time of year can be tricky with leafs falling off tree etc. a little welcome pack was left, with things such as bread/eggs and milk which was very thoughtful and added a lovely touch. We ate in the local bar/restraunt food was excellent. No complaints Not a single bad word to say about our stay here at Westwood cottage, will absolutely be booking again and recommending to friends and family.

Wonderful Westwood Cottage

Pros: Our second stay at Westwood cottage. Spotless accommodation with first class attention to detail.I would definitely recommend. Brenda is a fabulous host and obviously takes such pride in her cottage.
