traditional welcome in the highlands

Pros: a very trad and welcoming highland roadside inn in a lovely place. like all such old buildings some space and decor challenges, but clear signs of systematic investment and everything that mattered , eg beds, and certainly food, was top notch. excellent hosting all round. nothing too much trouble.

Pros: The room was comfortable, with a large ensuite bathroom. We had a lovely evening meal, really tasty fish and chips. The breakfast was was freshly cooked with quality scottish ingredients (not the usual buffet option). The staff were very welcoming and helpful. We would definitely stay again.!

A wonderful start to our holiday.

Pros: Location, staff, room (we had room 3), en suite, cleanliness, food all absolutely fantastic. The bed was comfortable, the en suite walk in shower was the best I’ve had at any hotel; staff were all friendly, welcoming \u0026 helpful. We had our evening meal there (pre booked table) \u0026 the food was very tasty especially the sticky toffee pudding. Would definitely recommend \u0026 stay there again.

Excellent experience, would highly reccomend.

Pros: Spacious, beautiful room in first floor. Despite the fact that hotel is near major road along Loch Ness, it is very quiet at night. Hosts were extremely kind and helpful. Dinner was very nice, with fresh fish and some good selection of wine as well. Breakfast had a good selection of options and was specially cooked for each guest. We had a nice walk in the nearby woods next to river and old bridge. Parking is on site and has enough space for all the guests.
