Suited my needs, perfectly!

Pros: Breakfast was generous and vey tasty. I was travelling by train, so Glenshee was very handy for the railway station. My host was welcoming, friendly and knowlwdgeable.

Excellent stay which provided everything I needed

Pros: Breakfast was excellent, freshly cooked and good quality. The room was comfortable and the owners were extremely friendly and helpful.

Cons: The facilities in the town were very limited for eating, basically a take away fish and chip shop however this was because I was staying in January so everything else was closed. The owners were very obliging and suggested I bring the fish and chips back to the guest house and use the dining room to eat them which was extremely kind of them.

Outstanding Guest House

Pros: Heather, the owner, greeted me on arrival. She has such a warm personality it was like talking to an old friend. When I explained I was doing th NC 500 she reccomended, several, less obvious, places that I should visit. The whole house and especialy my room was finished to the highest posdible standard. I believe it reflected Heather's pride and joy in sharing her home with visitors. My room even included a coffee machine with an abundance of various pods to choose from.

Pros: Perfect location for walking the John O Groats Trail. The room was comfortable, cosy and spotlessly clean. Heather was very accommodating and we appreciated the flexibility around breakfast arrangements for an early start. We would definitely return here.

Pros: Very comfortable accommodation in ideal location fro our planned trip to nearby Dunrobin Castle. A delicious cooked breakfast is served in a bright and spacious room. Friendly welcome too from the owners!
