Little Getaway in the Highlands

The views were amazing, the cabin was exceptional.

Pros: The entire experience was perfect. Everything was done to such a high spec. The hosts have thought of everything. The cabin was everything we’d hoped and more

Pros: The place was gorgeous. So quiet and peaceful. Wish we had stayed more than one day. Sauna was great and all instructions were given so easy to use and was just all around so lovely! Will definitely say here at some point again❤️

Pros: Beautiful place to stay!! Perfect for a break to enjoy nature. Lovely host. All the added extras like marshmallows and make your own popcorn were fantastic. Everything all set up for us arriving.

Pros: There was nothing not to like! All the little touches make for a very comfortable stay. It really is a special place to stay with beautiful views. The sauna is an excellent touch and great to relax after a day of exploring the area. Will definitely return.

Pros: The bed was super comfy like sleeping on a cloud. Hosts included everything such as fire wood for sauna,fire, charcoal for the BBQ and even included marshmallows with the sticks. Place was clean and beautiful.

Cons: The cloudy night, although I'm guessing if hosts could fix this they also would.

Fantastic stay, highly recommend

Pros: The little gateway was very well named. We loved everything about this property from the seclusion to all the facilities. Having a private veranda and woods together with the fire pit and lovely seating areas outside looking onto the private woods was perfect. The chalet was exceptional and so comfortable. We will be back.

Exceptional luxury getaway!

Pros: Everything about the chalet was perfect - it was sparkling clean, luxurious, modern, cosy, and so comfortable. We really wish we could've stayed for longer. We loved the super king sized bed as we had the most comfortable and restful sleep. The water pressure and temperature control in the shower was exceptional, and the private sauna was easy to get going and so relaxing. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you could need including premium and stylish appliances, quality kitchenware and a dishwasher. The location was accessible but secluded, it was so lovely being surrounded by nature. Check in was also easy and convenient with the lockbox. There were so many really thoughtful touches in the chalet, Lorna has really considered it all and we really appreciated the attention to detail to everything. We loved the design and functionality of the chalet - one of the best places we've ever stayed and we'd love to return in future!

Pros: The little getaway is an ideal location for couples looking to get a little break away or explore the surrounding areas. The cabin itself is perfect with everything you need for a comfortable night or two. The sauna was great and the geodome was a lovely place to sit when the bugs came out at night. Would highly recommend the short walk along to the bridge where the views are just stunning! They really have thought of everything and will definitely return in the future.

Pros: Perfect getaway , everything you could need was there , immaculate, outside cold shower after sauna was fun 😆.short walk to the black water river rapids for a swim , great outdoor space to relax with fire pit and barbecue, would highly recommend
