Relaxing , in an idyllic location

Pros: Idylli. Location . Hosts so helpful - fire was on when we arrived .

The perfect spot to completely relax and unwind.

Pros: The view was amazing and the cabin really clean and well equipped. Water pressure was great and lovely and hot all the time. The shower was really great! Lovely little touches like teas and coffees there is a nespresso machine. The owners were lovely and very helpful made sure we had everything we needed.

Cons: Nothing it was perfect.

Perfect relaxing holiday

Pros: Loved the location and the remoteness of it. Perfect place to detox from a hectic life and immerse yourself in nature. Perfect place to sit on the decking and watch the sunrise/ sunset and just listen to the dawn chorus. Bonus is all the wildlife around.

Spectacular, peaceful and luxurious

Pros: Absolutely fabulous! Me and my fiancée had an amazing weekend here - topped off by getting engaged! Can’t speak more highly of the place or of the two hosts who were both so welcoming and helpful.

Would love to come back

A peaceful gem for nature lovers

Pros: Beautifully crafted wooden cabin in the most peaceful setting. Loved warming our morning croissants in the oven of the wood fired stove (there is a gas hob as well) and sitting on the deck reading, listening to the bird song and the wind in the trees. Nice dog walks from the cabin, in Balblair Woods. Somewhere to completely switch off!

A dream come true of a cabin

Pros: A warm welcome from the owners was the perfect start to our wee holiday! The cabin is even more beautiful than on the pictures and little details we weren’t expecting made our stay even more relaxing. The inside is beautifully made, very comfortable and everything is set up for relaxing properly. There were a few staples left in the cupboards (salt, pepper, tea, coffee) which was amazing! The wood burner/ stove was easy to use (with a bit of confidence if you have never used one before)- we were also offered help with it, in case we were struggling, but we managed fine. And the terrace in front of the cabin was absolutely Devine to sit on and just enjoy life!

A perfect weekend in a perfect location in, what we would call for ourselves a perfect cabin.

Pros: Firstly the location, it was breathtakingly beautiful wow there is no other words for it. The cabin then just added to the whole experience. Beautifully laid out, simple but an attention to detail that just ticked all the boxes we had from the photos when we booked this trip. We will be returning for future breaks.

Cons: Nothing what so ever!!!

A stay we'll never forget!

Pros: Even though the cabin is not that remote, it is still very isolated and utterly quiet. The view from the cabin, the birds and their sounds, the complete lack of other noises, makes this the most relaxing place we've ever stayed. In the cabin everything you need is available. The owners live 50m from the cabin, but full privacy is guaranteed.
