Cottage Farmhouse

Facilities excellent and welcoming.

Pros: It was exactly where the post code said it should be. Easy to find despite storm Amy. The cottage had everything, very clean and comfortable.

Pros: Beautiful setting and cottage. Plenty of space for 4 in 2 double beds, great kitchen.

Cons: Track to the cottage from the main road is very bumpy - not suitable for a low clearance car.

Lovely Stay

Pros: Ideal location to meet up with family who live in the area. Lovely farmhouse was like home from home as we also live in a similar location and property in Durham. House was well equipped with everything you could need. Close to Tesco and Asda for shopping. Lovely gesture of fresh eggs, milk and biscuits left by the owner. Will definitely stay again.

A quiet place , spacious, good for relaxing .

Pros: The location was close to Huntly, perfect to explore part of the North East Coast of Scotland.( Cullan , Portsoy, Banff)

Perhaps the best Farmhouse Experience in Scotland

Pros: This unit is incredible, its the quintessential farmhouse experience! The house was spotless when we arrived. Upon arrival we met the hosts. One of the days we had the opportunity to chat with Hazel, who's wonderful! They've poured a lot of heart into the property and it shows! My wife has a fragrance allergy, and the hosts were gracious enough to re-wash the linins with special soap beforehand - a request that isnt always honored during our travels. It's asking a lot and they were happy to oblige, which we appreciate. Book here if you want to pop the windows open, feel the fresh Scottish air and relax. The house is well equipped and has everything you need. We will be re-booking here in the future and are already looking forward to our return!

Cons: The property is perfect! The bed is a bit firm for Americans, but most beds are like this in the EU and UK.

Peaceful and Accommodating

Pros: Great cottage and plenty of space for 4 people. It’s in the country and very peaceful but not too far away from town. One full bath plus one half bath was nice to have, and the full sized kitchen was stocked with everything you need to cook. Our host left us some farm fresh eggs, milk, bread, coffee, tea, and other snacks. Would definitely come back if in the area again!
