Quiet, comfortable and cosy lodge in a great location for accessing lots of different activities

Pros: Nice quiet location on edge of Banchory, loved the wood burner, comfy beds and the welcome basket was a lovely touch.

Enjoyable stay in a quiet, secluded yet easily accessible location

Pros: Secluded quiet location yet fairly quick and easy access to the major trunk road. Children were able to play in safety in grassy area away from the road.

Cons: Parking just OK for three cars, but with two lodges would have been difficult with two cars per lodge. When cooking for six, and extra medium saucepan and a measuring jug would have been useful

Had a very relaxing holiday . Visiting family and Tall Ships .

Wonderful stay in a beautiful lodge

Pros: Beautiful lodge in a tranquil setting and wonderful helpful hosts. Spotlessly clean and comfortable with a very thoughtful welcome basket. Great location for touring Deeside and the north east. Will look forward to a return visit.

Pros: Fantastic cabin with all mod cons, loads of space and really homely feel, we loved it.

Cons: Very little, the main double bed could do with a better mattress or just a mattress topper but overall the place is superb

Loved our stay here and have booked for next year . The owners were very nice too . Loved the wood fire and we had a BBQ

Cons: Brown leather couches are too soft . We found them uncomfortable

Pros: The property was very clean and comfortable and well sized for a family of 6. Had everything we needed and everything worked. Nice welcome pack provided by the hosts.

Cons: Car parking could be bigger, bit of a squeeze if taking multiple cars.

Good cabin with convenient access to locations in the area

Pros: Well appointed, quiet, convenient for dogs, lots of space for a couple and two dogs. Good location for access to Balmoral, Royal Deeside, and the coast.

Cons: Not much really. Setting is unusual with plenty of green space, surrounded by an obvious high fence and old cabins. Couldn't use the sofas as they were very soft.
