Harbour House Bed & Breakfast - Wick

This 19th Century property was previously home to the harbour masters of Pulteney, and has now been converted into bed and breakfast accommodation in the heart of Wick. Harbour House features free Wi-Fi, a lounge with a pool table and breakfasts served to the rooms. Each bedroom is individually designed with a modern décor and comes with a TV and DVD player. They come with an en suite bathroom, a hairdryer and tea/coffee-making facilities. Pros: I had a lovely big room which overlooked the harbour. There was loads of biscuits in the room and plenty of tea and coffee. The room was also warm and good shower with hot water. Amazing breakfast!! Yes, the property needs a little renovating, but if you can look past that, this is a lovely little b\u0026b in a great location (which I got for a great price being off season).

Very good value for money

Pros: The location was good - great view, and not far from the railway station, Very handy for the excellent chip shop around the corner - and breakfast in the morning was exceptional, served piping hot.

Cons: The window could have been a little cleaner - but I appreciate that's going to be difficult with the North Sea a very short distance away....

Great value for money

Pros: Hosts were friendly. Single room and private bathroom were clean and generous. Bed was comfy and slept well. Breakfast served to room and was tasty.

Cons: Enjoyed my stay. However, decor and carpets are dated and there was a very faint smell of old cigarette smoke…more around the landing area. Despite this, it wouldnt put me off returning.

Excellent place to stay

Pros: Great location close to everything. Great view of the harbour. The host and hostess were very friendly and helpful. They supplied plenty of coffee, tea and snacks. Breakfast was delivered to your room and it was included in the price.
