Best b \u0026 b we’ve stayed in

Pros: We arrived on a stormy night ,met outside and welcomed.Even before we reached the room we were impressed by the spacious \u0026 thoughtful lounge for guests,comfortable groupings of chairs/sofas. A snug corner, place to play games,snooker table etc. Really comfortable bed \u0026 spotlessly clean The breakfast was delicious,local produce,eggs from their hens.would highly recommend.

Cons: Nothing! It was delightful

Pros: A lovely property with lovely, friendly and informative hosts who shared lots of information about the area and places to see. The charcuterie board was good value for money and the guest lounge an added bonus. Also a fully licenced bar. Breakfast was cooked to order and was excellent.

Pros: Kirsty and James were the perfect hosts, great company and went the extra mile to ensure my stay was enjoyable. My room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Kirsty's home cooked meals were excellent and the availability of a beer after a long day's walking was greatly appreciated.

Pros: Excellent facilities in a handy location, very friendly hosts, very clean and tidy, great breakfast and a reasonable price.

Pros: The B And B was lovely, I enjoyed the entire stay, the room was very nice and each room was decorated differently. The host were amazing and they involved their children which I thought was lovely. It's a very family run business, don't change anything. The food was amazing and the passion they had to describe the food and drinks was very nice. We will be back at some point. I would highly recommend this property and the family that run it

Cons: Nothing at all

Pros: Kristy and James were both such wonderful hosts. Breakfast was very delicious and they accommodated evey request we had about food. The location of the B\u0026B was also excellent. Would definetly recommend booking a stay there.

Pros: Warm welcome, room clean, comfortable and stylish. Great dinner and breakfast. Lovely hosts who really seem to want you to enjoy the area.

Highly recommend this B\u0026B

Pros: I checked the reviews here (after booking) and saw that their lowest score was 7.0. Considering 70% is still a first class degree, that's not really too bad. Everything about this B\u0026B is first class! Definitely the best place we've stayed at on our current jaunt north and I'll be recommending to anyone coming this way.

Cons: James and Kirsty are selling themselves short. I genuinely believe they should be charging more.

Perfect location for overnight stay on NC500

Pros: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Acarsaid B\u0026B. We pre-booked our dinner knowing we were going to be hungry after a long day driving. We received a warm welcome from the entire family and were the only guests so had the place to ourselves. The lasagna was delicious and great choice of drinks, we had a great evening playing pool watching Netflix and my husband had a whisky tasting. Breakfast was the best of our entire trip my pancake stack was so good! We will definitely go back to John O'Groats on the motorbike and would like to spend a couple of nights next time as the walks from there need some exploring

Cons: Nothing it was perfect

Pros: Real family atmosphere to the place. Felt more like staying with friends (with their young kids) than a B\u0026B setup. Lovely home cooked food too. Great stuff all round.

Cons: In the room there wasn't a lot of surface space for our 'stuff' and no vanity table for doing make up etc.
