The Shandwick Inn

Pros: The privacy of the standalone outhouse was a great little self-contained unit and it was nice and quiet. The internet was suitable for my working requirements and it was the perfect location for a site nearby I needed to visit for work. A nice touch with the continental breakfast left in the door and the food in the restaurant is lovely. I've had the venison stew twice now.

Cons: The floor in the bathroom was really cold and the heater in there didn't really heat the room up all that well. The outer, mai door was a little draughty. The lighting was pretty dim so a few extra lumens and upgrading to LED bulbs would be worthwhile.

Pros: Wasn't expecting boxbreakfast but it was fine. restaurant was excellent.food great. Prices great. Held a 12 person family reunion and it was brilliant, great service.

It is ideal situated for the golf courses need to play. Struggled to message home.

Pros: Evening meals were amazing. Just what was needed after a day on the golf course.

Cons: Breakfast was ok not as good as last visit. No cereal which was a bit of a negative. Internet service was really poor.

Pros: Easy to find. Very comfortable mattress, and had everything you’d need for an overnight stay.

Cons: Tap water wasn’t pleasant. I’d recommend having some bottled still water available.

Pros: We stayed in the cottage. It was the second time we had stayed there. The cottage is comfortable and has everything you need. A continental breakfast is delivered to your door in the morning. The food in the pub is lovely

Cons: I think the property could do with sprucing up. The cottage itself could do with a lick of paint inside and out and maybe a handrail as the steps are quite steep

Pros: We had the super cute cottage outside. The food was great and the bar menu fun.

Cons: It wasn't the best breakfast. I would skip that next time.

Pros: I stayed in the little annex and it was perfect for me. The food in the was fantastic and the continental breakfast they put out in the morning was brilliant it ment I could grab and go out.
