Buddy/Hiking - Trip to the highlands with my son

Pros: The position in the nature and away from all the rush was perfect for us. In the mobile home was everything you need for self - catering. Also you can store a lot if needed for all your belongings. Two bedrooms (single - double) were perfect for us. We wanted to do a lot of hiking with a lot of places around you can do it ideal. Tain is just 10 minutes drive away where all the food supermarkets (Lidl, Tesco, Asda) are, you needed. And when you need the rush of a city, Inverness is just an hour drive away. Julie and Steve are the perfect hosts. They are helpful with everything you want or need. We enjoyed our stay a lot and won't be the last time to stay here.

Cons: Nothing to complain about. The road - which is more like a path - to the domicile is uneven so you have to drive very carefully and slow. And when you do, no problem.

Pros: It was welcoming, warm and cosy. Comfy bed and great facilities. Impressive attention to detail. We really loved staying.

Pros: The apartment was absolutely lovely, and every detail had been thought about. Thoroughly well equipped, beautifully well furnished, and the host was lovely and communicated really well.

Pros: Had the most amazing week here at Clashmore Wood. The accommodation was spotless and had everything we needed. Julie and Steve and their dog George couldn’t have been more welcoming. A true dog friendly experience our 2 dogs loved it as much as we did. Off lead walking in field and Forrest on our doorstep. The caravan is next to the owners house but it never felt intrusive. Great base to explore the area. Dornoch is a beautiful town. Most places are dog friendly and nearly all that we visited have provided our 2 with a dog biscuit. Would 100% recommend and would def book again.

Pros: Very well appointed. We appreciated that there was good information about local walks. Good facilities with coffee and milk provided. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Hosts were very friendly and informative about the local area.

Pros: Clashmore Wood is highly recommended. If you want to get away from it all in a beautiful location, with a lovely apartment, perfect for a couple visiting the area then this is the place.
