Tornacraig 8 Person Country House on Royal Deeside

Pros: The house was large with a wonderful kitchen, multiple bathrooms and a practical washroom. We enjoyed the cosy house with a wonderful view.

Pros: The house was really good and the scenery was amazing. The fire place was cozy and the remaining facility's such as the washing machine was a nice bonus. Thank you for the experience.

Cons: The only thing to mention is the driveway and directions. The place was a bit difficult to find but once we asked a nabour, we could locate the house relativly easily. Also we were on the motorcycle so we were not really prepared for the rough driveway. But these are minor details.

Pros: We have been many times but not for several years. Its private and well equipped for a large family.

Very pleasant, looking forward to next year

Pros: Great location by the river for fishing. Gods kitchen/dinning room for the evening.

Pros: A beautiful house in a stunning, tranquil location. Hiking trails on the doorstep. 20 minutes walk through woodland paths takes you to a safe swimming place at Cambus O May Bridge. Welll equipped kitchen for large family meals. Grocery shopping at Aboyne CoOp 10 minutes away. A helpful caretaker.

Spacious and comfortable in beautiful location-shame about the En-suite electric shower

Pros: Amazing location- perfect for outdoor adventures and close to the lovely Ballater Village. Very good sized property for multiple family/friends get together. We had 4 children age ranges 4-11 and they loved running around in and around the property. Great sized family kitchen with all the pots/pans/crockery and equipment required for self catering and cooking. Seemed very good value for money- we had this property during the end of August- still summer holidays in England (think Scottish schools were just opening that week)

Cons: The hot water from the electric shower in the en-suite bathroom downstairs was running cold at times, and we couldn't work out why. Other than this we don't have any complaints.

Brilliant holiday in an amazing property

Pros: We loved everything about this property. The size and space for everyone, cleanliness and facilities. Oh yes the fact that it is in amongst the hills. Perfect setting, so very quiet. It’s only a 10 minute drive from Ballater where there are lots of shops and a main supermarket. We would love to return!

John the host was lovely. So kind with our quick turnaround request to stay.

Pros: The property was gorgeous, you can see the stars at night and there are cows in the field on the other side of the house. Very very beautiful and wish we were there longer.
